Colin Firth’s Praises Single Man Costars

The legendary British actor - who recently played gay college professor George Falconer in - has praised his costars Nicholas, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode for their great work on the dramatic blockbuster.

“They are at the top of the game,” he said. “When I close my eyes and think of the film, I tend to see Nick Hoult’s face looking back at me. It’s very hard to forget the eyes. I never had such an easy time as when I worked with Julianne. That relationship felt real to me.”

Colin didn’t know how well he would get on with the flame-haired actress and his co-star Matthew. “I wasn’t sure about it on the page, but the minute I met her, it was there. I think it’s exactly the same with . Like that scene on the sofa, there’s moments of familiarity,” Firth explained.

The Bridget Jones star has also spoken out about working with clothing designer-turned-director - who in charge of the film. “It was very clear to me that this was not a vanity project,” he told About.com. “Just his choice of material indicated to me that this was not just a chance for him to show off his spring collection.”
