In a world where vampires and werewolves can fall in love on the big screen, surely zombies can, too.

Based on the debut novel from Isaac Marion of the same name, Warm Bodies sees a zombie (Nicholas Hoult) gain awareness and empathy once he begins to fall for one of his victim's girlfriends. The film - adapted and directed by 50/50's Jonathan Levine - also stars John Malkovich, Dave Franco, and Teresa Palmer.

While the Twilight comparisons have already run amok on the internet following the trailer's premiere, Warm Bodies looks more closely related to Zombieland in terms of tone. Also, you can't really compare Twilight to a film that has John Malkovich in it - that's just not a fair comparison.

Distributed by Summit (yes, the same folks who are behind Twilight), the film is set for a February 1, 2013 release.
