Vanilla Sky co-stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are planning to reunite for the first time since their 2001 venture.

The two are in final talks to star in an action comedy for 20th Century Fox. The film tells the story of a secret agent (Cruise) and the single woman whose life he keeps disappearing from.

Walk the Line‘s James Mangold is in line to direct the movie. The currently untitled film may find a place in theaters sometime next summer.
