Joey Lawrence, otherwise known as the gorgeous (but stupid) brother on Blossom, and Wesley Snipes, otherwise known as a bit of a has-been action star, will pair up in the new film Havana Heat.

Havana Heat revolves around a Homeland Security agent who gets murdered.

Lawrence has been most recently seen on ABC Family, where he stars in a sitcom with Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch). The series is aptly named Melissa & Joey. Meanwhile, Snipes was in Brooklyn’s Finest.

Although Snipes has been sentenced to three years in prison for tax evasion, the studio is hopeful the matter will be resolved. Shooting on Havana begins in November.
