Kristen Stewart for 'W' Magazine

Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard, and Nicole Kidman have bared all in critically-acclaimed performances this year. Now the A-listers are baring their all for W magazine.

The actresses have gone makeup-free for fashion photographer Jeurgen Teller, who wanted to shoot them in their natural states. Whether it's Botox, plastic surgery, or perhaps just good genes, Cotillard and Kidman - whose photos you can check out after the jump - look great for their ages despite foregoing their usual glamorous makeup routines.

Items Du Jour: Kate Upton on Vogue UK, Britney in Christopher Kane

Jessica Chastain on 'W'+ Kate Upton is slowly climbing up the ladder to supermodel status. The American model - known previously for her swimwear work - has landed her first Vogue UK cover, shortly after having appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia.

+ Britney Spears recently showed up to an X Factor event wearing vintage Christopher Kane, although I'm not sure if I'm digging the floral and lace patterns on leather.

+ Anderson Cooper revealed that he wears the same pairs of jeans during his everyday wear and that he doesn't wash them for six months at a time. When he does, he washes them in the shower.

+ Jessica Chastain takes over all three variant covers of January's W, the Art Meets Fashion edition. Posing for photographer Rineke Dijkstra and artists Chantal Joffe and Geoge Condo, the actress looks stunning in the released photos of the covers and editorial.

Marion Cotillard for W

W gets into the holiday spirit with its Rust and Bone cover girl Marion Cotillard decked all in red for its December issue.

The rest of the editorial, photographed by Tim Walker, features the Oscar winner romancing a very creepy lifesize nutcracker in Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino Haute Couture, Chanel Haute Couture, and more. Check out the rest of the photos after the jump!

Carey Mulligan is Flawless on the Cover of W

Carey Mulligan on the cover of W

Shame's Carey Mulligan flaunts her gorgeousness on January's W cover -- can she be any more perfect?

Inside the issue, the British actress does what she does best: acts! Mulligan gets dramatic crying under a pair of sunglasses in one photo, then she's all smiles with a Disney princess-like chipmunk resting on her shoulder in another. Another pair of cinematic images feature her looking rather stylishly breathtaking. Then there's the random one where she looks like Twiggy.

Kim Kardashian Upset Over Nude W Photos

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Editorials, News,

Reality star and occasional model Kim Kardashian has blasted W Magazine on her show for a nude shoot she did back in October for their November Art issue.

Despite having previously posed nude in Playboy and Harper's Bazaar, Kim was extremely upset over what she claims was misrepresented when pitched to her:

"Oh my God, I'm more naked that I was in Playboy. I'm so mad right now. [The magazine] promised I would be covered with artwork -- you can see the nipples! The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen. I feel so taken advantage of … I've definitely learned my lesson. I'm never taking my clothes off again, even if it's for Vogue."

What never compelled her to confirm that minor stipulation with the magazine is beyond me. Considering the lengths she seems to go to grab headlines, I can't seem to buy her story. Moreover, I think that it's laughable that she'd think there's a possibility in Anna Wintour's this reality that Vogue would ever ask her to be in their magazine.

W, of course, was quick to respond:

Uma Thurman Glamours W Shoot

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Models, News,

Uma Thurman on the October cover of WFormer fashion model Uma Thurman still looks as hot as ever in the latest issue of W, despite nearing her 40th birthday.

The photo shoot has Thurman portraying a fallen, old Hollywood actress. Despite the beautiful heartbreak in the images (which you can find after the jump), Thurman is fabulous in the platinum blonde wig, thigh-high stockings, and classic jewelry.

In the issue, Thurman opens up about how she has been reflecting upon her life:

“I can’t say my 30s were the easiest time. And I had thought my 20s were hard! You know, that’s the worst mistake a woman can make, to think, Oh, I’m 32 and I’ve had two kids and I’ve worked since I was 16 and now it’s going to get easier. Because as soon as you think that, you’re doomed! You’re absolutely doomed! When I was a teenager people often referred to me as jaded or knowing. It’s a classic teen illusion to think you know it all, but I’ve certainly learned I don’t. I’ve certainly learned the hard way.”

Vogue Editorial Rips Off W

Condé Nast rips off Condé Nast

Someone at Condé Nast needs to start cross-referencing their editorials more often. September’s issue of Vogue features an editorial titled “Into the Woods,” which bears a striking resemblance to a 2007 editorial in W.

On top of the fact that both are Condé Nast publications, both editorials were shot by the same photographers—Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. I’m not sure if it’s worse that you copied yourself than it is if you copied another photographer in a different publication! Check out more of the copy-cat photos after the jump.
