+ Already the face of one of their fragrances, actress Amanda Seyfried was tapped for Givenchy's Fall/Winter ad campaign, which also features Carine Roitfeld (who styled the ads) and her daughter Julia.

+ Speaking of Givenchy, beneath her Riccardo Tisci dress, Jessica Chastain wore matching Spanx in order to avoid becoming another actress at the Cannes Film Festival to experience an embarrassing crotch flash.

+ Helping out brides who want to wed on a budget, Target has announced a wedding dress collection priced between $99.99-$129.99, featuring an array of styles and cuts for sizes 2 through 28. The retail giant will also offer bridesmaids dresses in their online store.

+ Having already been at the center of a sexual discrimination lawsuit in Tokyo, Prada is now being pressued by The High Commissioner for Human Rights at the U.N. to cease its egregious practices against female employees.

DJ AM Nikes on Hold

The unexpected death of DJ AM (a.k.a. Adam Goldstein) has left several projects in limbo.

In addition to working with MTV on Gone Too Far, a reality series about addiction, the disc jockey was also collaborating with Nike about a line bearing his logo.

The shoemaker, like the cable channel, is now having to reassess its plans. A company rep claims they plan to consult with Goldstein’s family about how to move forward with the limited-edition Nike Dunks.

Adam, who was once engaged to the fashionable Nicole Richie, reportedly owned over 700 pairs of the brand’s shoes.

Twitter Kicks: Our readers send us pics of their kicks

A couple of days ago, we hit up the Chic Dish Twitter account and asked our followers to send in a picture of the kicks that they were wearing at that very moment. It was an experiment, and if 20 responses came in, we would have given a $20 Zappos gift certificate away randomly to one of the submitters. Unforunately, we only got 17 submissions, so no giveaway on this one—however, we are going to do this regularly, so be on the lookout, and be sure to follow Chic Dish on Twitter.

That said, we had a great time checking out the submissions, all of which you can find after the jump, along with the Twitter user who sent it in. Go take a look, and let us know what you think - any favorites?

Edit: Okay, we are getting a few questions about the roll of toilet paper in the above photo—we checked with @pinksage, and apparently, she has “the sniffles” and was too lazy, or broke (have you seen the economy lately), to do it up right and grab a box of Kleenex.
