First Look: Gwyneth Paltrow for Max Factor

Among Gwyneth Paltrow's many jobs is that of serving as "creative inspiration" for cosmetic company Max Factor, which of course entails offering her face up for advertising campaigns.

The first photo (seen above) of the most recent campaign - which was inspired by Paltrow's Renaissance-like career - sees the actress/rockstar wife/blogger/style icon as "The Writer." So how did she manage evoking the character? "It's kind of me when I'm most myself - doing something creative. You know, having a look that says confidence, creativity, but still very much who I am," the mother of two explained.

Paltrow will appear in six other photos for the campaign, which are sadly not displayed in the U.S. considering that Max Factor hasn't been sold here in two years. Now you'll have an excuse to buy with all the European fashion glossies!

Posh has been named the World’s Most Glamorous Celebrity!

The former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer beat Dannii Minogue to top the table of stylish women in a poll of UK females by make-up brand Max Factor, which marks the launch of the firm’s Vibrant Curve Effect Lip Gloss.

“Victoria Beckham has been gracing the fashion pages for years now with her glamorous looks and she has designed her own clothes range. She never leaves home without being fully made up and her signature glossy pout has become her calling card.”

The spokesperson also revealed how pregnant Dannii’s standing in the poll shot up after she appeared in a number of chic outfits last year when sitting on the judging panel of UK talent show The X Factor. He added, “Dannii Minogue has become more popular after showcasing a wide range of glamorous looks on The X Factor.”

There was no sign of Dannii’s co-judge Cheryl Cole, however, as pillow-lipped beauty Angelina Jolie completed the top three in the poll, which asked the opinions of 3,000 women.
