Jonathan Saunders Designs Fashion’s Night Out T-shirt

The Scottish designer has teamed up with Vogue magazine for the annual fashion event and created a unique T-shirt design in aid of domestic violence charity Refuge.
"It's such an honor to collaborate with [editor] Alexandra Shulman and Vogue on this year's official Fashion's Night Out T-shirt. The design features one of my signature prints which I hope people are excited to take away from the night. I am so happy to be a part of this global initiative raising much-needed funds for charity, and I look forward to a great night out on September 6," he said.
Fashion's Night Out will be held on September 6 by all 19 countries that publish Vogue. This year marks the fourth time the magazine is supporting the fashion and retail sectors by hosting star-studded shopping parties in major cities featuring editors, stars, models, fashionistas, and designers.

Victoria Beckham Donates Dress to Charity

Pop star-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham is to donate items of her clothing to raise money for cancer victims.
The British fashionista—along with other high-profile stars, including Stella McCartney, Sienna Miller and Elizabeth Hurley—hopes to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign by giving a selection of one-off pieces of her wardrobe to a new eBay initiative.
Celebrity Boutique will allow fashion fans to purchase unique items of clothing that once belonged to stars, and many of which were worn to public events. The former Spice Girl is to give away a piece from her own fashion collection, which she wore to a family meal at London’s exclusive Claridge’s hotel following her first ever in-store showcase at Selfridges department store.
UK Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman is another of the great and good of the fashion world who has got involved in the initiative: “As a trustee of The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign, I am delighted to help with the Celebrity Boutique. The work of the campaign is vitally important in furthering both research and treatment of cancer and it’s terrific to have been able to use fashion as part of this.”
Fashion World to Contribute to Matthew Williamson Book

Matthew Williamson is to be the subject of a new book.
Matthew Williamson will follow the British-born fashion designer’s journey from his debut collection in 1997 up to his present day global success.
A host of big names are expected to contribute to the book on Williamson, who counts celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow among his fans. Actress Sienna Miller, a close friend and muse to the designer, will provide the foreword while a host of big names from the world of fashion will give contributions. These include Anna Wintour, British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, fashion designers Zandra Rhodes and Sir Paul Smith and Joan Burstein, founder of Browns boutique in London.
Written by fashion historian Colin McDowell, the book will be lavishly decorated in Williamson’s trademark vibrant colors and patterns. Released in October, the book will be accompanied by an exhibition at Somerset House in central London, which will run until January 2011. The exhibition will launch with a party on October 12 where the central courtyard of Somerset House will be made over in a Matthew Williamson theme.

Victoria Beckham flew into London yesterday for a special London Fashion Week dinner. The former Spice Girl-turned-designer wore a stunning tricolor off-the-shoulder dress from her own collection to the event at Le Caprice, hosted by British Vogue magazine editor Alexandra Shulman, with Net-A-Porter.com, to celebrate 25 years of the famous fashion event.
Other stars in attendance included supermodels, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, presenter Alexa Chung, and rising catwalk stars Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe.
