Lindsay Lohan Sued for $5 Million
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News,
Lindsay Lohan is being sued for $5 million. The Scary Movie 5 star is being counter-sued by clothing manufacturer D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, who claim she is the reason a business deal for her 6126 clothing line fell apart, according to TMZ.
Lindsay had originally started legal action against the company, claiming they didn't honor a licensing fee agreement and seeking $1.1 million in damages. However, D.N.A.M. claim they attempted to sell the Lindsay's 6126 clothes to high-end third party retailers in 2010, but found it hard, as Lindsay's personal life and legal problems had spiralled out of control.
The lawsuit points out Lindsay was in rehab at the time, claiming she had a "drug-addled image," which affected their own reputation, and her legal problems were playing out "like a Greek tragedy." D.N.A.M. claims it invested millions in the 6126 brand only to find it unprofitable. They are suing for breach of contract and fraud, asking for at least $5 million in damages.
Lindsay's public image is still in trouble as she is currently undergoing three months of court-ordered rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic in California, where she is reportedly finding conditions tough.

Lindsay Lohan Designing Shoes for 6126 Collection

Lindsay Lohan has begun creating "timeless" shoes for her 6126 collection.
The 24-year-old actress, who was recently released from a three-month enforced stay at the Betty Ford rehab clinic in California, is working on a "glamorous" collection of footwear with business partner Kristi Kaylor, who reveals the actress is heavily involved in their design.
"I took inspiration from old Hollywood glamour and added a modern edge. It was key to make comfortable, timeless shoes that can easily go from day to night and feel cool, chic and glamorous," Lindsay said.
Kristi added, "She comes to meetings with tears, photos and fabrics. She brings her own shoes in to show specifics. She's ultra-prepared, all the time."
The troubled star hopes the shoes will be the kind women can wear from season to season and be hard-wearing. "They're timeless. You're buying an over-the-knee boot to wear for years," Kristi said.

—The late and fashionably great muse and icon Isabella Blow apparently commissioned her own memorial sculpted by artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster. It’s also worthy to note that the piece is constructed of dead animals, her lipstick, and one of her shoes.
—Since Lindsay is busy with her legal woes, little sister Ali Lohan has filled in for her, modeling the 6126 Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Naturally, she looks rather awkward in the shots.
—Famed shoe designer Manolo Blahnik claims that his shoes saves marriages. If only every couple could afford a pair of them.

Lindsay Lohan to Pose Nude With or Without SCRAM Bracelet

Never underestimate a career-less
newly-sober celebrity. Lindsay Lohan is willing to bare it all again for the camera—with or without her chunky alcohol monitoring bracelet.
The 23 year-old stripped down once for New York Magazine when she channeled Marilyn Monroe; this time, Lohan’s cause is for her 6126 collection. Expected to shoot next month in Los Angeles, Richard Luna of The California Bag—the company that licenses Lohan’s handbags—has some interesting ideas to get around the SCRAM accessory.
“We’re thinking of having police on hand so we can remove the ankle bracelet for the pictures,” he said. He then said that they may take photos with and without the bracelet, noting that it could be airbrushed out later.
Such a classy model—no wonder Ungaro wanted her!

Preview Ready-to-Wear 6126
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Models, News, Sales,

While Lindsay Lohan offered up a nice peak at her 6126 line’s handbags, a more complete view of the ready-to-wear apparel has hit the internet.
Leather, fur, lace, thigh-high boots, and neutral shades dominate the line, which features LiLo herself (big surprise there). Additionally, you’ll be able to spot a younger Lohan in the photos (after the jump) as well as a hunky shirtless guy. The line is cute, but there’s nothing in the line that I couldn’t get at Forever 21 or Topshop. If you still want to snag a few of these pieces, you’ll unfortunately have to wait until this fall.

Lindsay Lohan Expands Leggings Range
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News, Sales,
Actress-turned-designer Lindsay Lohan isn’t just making accessories anymore. The House of Emanuel Ungaro creative advisor star is planning to include other items of clothing in her 6126 collection, including jackets, dresses, and trousers in lace, cashmere and leather.
The line is expected to feature 100 pieces, ranging in price, with the most expensive item expected to be a leather jacket. Plans are already underway for further expansion in 2011, with a clothing collection of 150 items and a range of bags, jewelery, shoes and cosmetics under the 6126 brand.
Kristi Kaylor, principal in 6126 LLC in Beverly Hills, told WWD, “We’ve had amazing success with the leggings line. We have a great business with Neiman Marcus and several hundred great specialty stores. DNAM Apparel was the perfect partner to work with 6126 and grow it as a lifestyle brand. We’re launching the full clothing collection next year, and a cosmetics line, handbags, shoes, jewellery in spring 2011. It’ll be a young contemporary price point with contemporary styling. We’re conscious of it in the sense that we have great price points and quality products. The vision is to offer customers something that they don’t have in the marketplace today, items that go back with leggings: blazers, dresses and tops.”

Lindsay Lohan Demands Free Clothes
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News, Rumors, Sales, Women, Accessories,
Much like when she refused to pay a bar tab, Lindsay Lohan has now “offended” a designer boutique after demanding free clothes.
The failed creative advisor for Ungaro has upset exclusive Los Angeles boutique Kitson - which stocks Lindsay’s leggings line 6126 - after she reportedly demanded $15,000 in free merchandise from a shop assistant earlier this month.
Store owners are upset by the 23-year-old’s demands because she reportedly failed to fulfil her promotional duties after they splashed out a huge sum on stocking her leg-wear range. A spokesperson told Fox News, “We’re actually really offended. The tables have turned and now we’re the customer. We spent $50,000 on her leggings line, but she hasn’t come to the store in three years, and she didn’t even do a personal appearance. “
Staff at the shop - which is on Robertson Boulevard - have now threatened to withdraw the collection from their store: “She should have brought cookies for the staff to thank them for selling her leggings because she does nothing. We don’t know if we’ll continue to carry them.”
