Sometimes less really isn’t more.

While I laud her for a simple look, singer Lily Allen is looking a little too dated and possibly in need of an apron. Allen showed up to the Ivor Novello songwriting awards in this cream-colored frock with a pair of ruby red shoes peeking from beneath the flowing fabric. I can’t decide if it’s the mismatched nail polish and shoes or the overall Middle Age peasant vibe that distresses me. For someone who’s a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld, I would think that she’d know better!
