And while the paparazzi has been working overtime to get any shots of Jen and John together, anyone watching ABC late last night would have seen a public Sarah and Jimmy reunion. But are they just good friends…or more than that?

Wiliam Shatner Lashes Out at George Takei

UPDATE: Takei told Entertainment Tonight that an invitation was sent to Shatner after all. William just didn’t bother to RSVP.
It should make J.J. Abrams feel better to know that he isn’t the only one hated by William Shatner.
Since he hasn’t been assigned to any film shoots, the Boston Legal star has apparently found himself with a lot of spare time. Last month, Shatner - with the help of his daughter - hit YouTube to talk about being snubbed by the Star Trek director. Now he’s hitting the internet to talk about being snubbed by a former co-star.
When actor George Takei (Sulu) married his partner Brad Altman back in September, several members of the Star Trek family were included in the event. Unfortunately, Shatner was not one of them. In an interview with AP Radio, George said his memories of the show’s lead star weren’t always pleasant.

Paris Hilton Continues Her Fake Presidential Campaign

If you thought Paris Hilton’s presidential run ended with her first campaign video, you were wrong. Although the hotel heiress has been spending a lot of time lately looking for a new BFF, she has not yet set aside her political aspirations.
In her latest clip (which can be seen after the jump), Hilton seeks out advice from a former fake politician—the West Wing‘s President Jed Bartlet (a.k.a Martin Sheen).
Kanye West Not Ready to Apologize for Airport Fight

Although it’s been almost a month since he was detained at LAX, Kanye West does not appear he’s about to get past that incident anytime soon.
Back on September 11 (a horrible date for any airport arrest), the musician and his road manager were both arrested for damaging a photographer’s equipment. Although West has since been cleared of a felony charge (he only destroyed a relatively inexpensive lighting component), he could still be slapped with a misdemeanor. (It’s unclear what charges his partner-in-crime might still be dealing with.)
Needless to say, Kanye wasn’t entirely thrilled about being questioned recently by another paparazzo:

Why is Diddy Hiding Under the Covers?

In a recent entry on his vlog, Sean Combs (Diddy) cowered under the covers, spoke in a frightened whisper and admitted to one of his biggest fears: that Sarah Palin, Vice Presidential contender, will become the President of the United States.
“Sarah Palin, you scare me,” Diddy says dramatically, a single flashbulb illuminating the white sheet surrounding him. “She’s worse than the boogeyman!” He cries, eyes wide and haunted with images of Palin White House.
In the video, Diddy shows a clip of Palin’s interview with Katie Couric and goes on to lament the possibilities of the future. “If I stay under the covers, she won’t become President!” He decides, continuing to cower. View the clip after the jump.

David Letterman Makes Anne Hathaway Squirm

And up until now, I thought Dave only liked to make Paris Hilton squirm.
Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman, the host got his chance to talk to Anne Hathaway - the former girlfriend of con man Raffaello Follieri. Although the actress was primarily on the show to promote her upcoming movie (Rachel Getting Married), she was forced to put on a brave face when the subject of her shady ex came up.
Given the host’s natural tendency to bring up uncomfortable topics, it’s fair to say Hathaway probably expected the line of questioning. That said, I still felt a bit sorry for the girl.

If you do, you should be happy to know that Erik’s vulnerable moments with the cute blonde weren’t a complete waste. Almost a year after revealing to
Jaime that he was still a virgin, the 27-year-old musician and the 23-year old Mercy Ministries employee are now engaged.
Needing help to plan a long-distance ceremony (the Nashville-based couple are hoping to marry in her hometown of Charleston, SC), the pair submitted a video in a wedding contest. The clip - which details the story of their sweet courtship - can be seen after the jump.

A Web site created on September 15, 2008 through Go Daddy calling itself Britney Spears Circus Leak has posted an audio Internet video that’s suddenly becoming the most talked-about file on the Web. Considering the subject matter, this is hardly surprising - but if you’re looking for the formula for online success, pay attention.
A single picture of Brit, a countdown showing the time remaining on the release of her album and a single audio embed is all it takes to make a site successful. If, of course, the site is offering up audio of what is purportedly a leaked track off of a truly unreleased album. The track, “Candy From Strangers” certainly sounds like it could be the work of Britney Spears.

George Takei Weds Partner Brad Altman

Four weeks after Ellen Degeneres wed girlfriend Portia de Rossi, actor George Takei got his turn. On Sunday, the 71-year-old Star Trek legend wed his partner of 21 years in Los Angeles. The Buddhist ceremony came three months after Takei and Brad Altman, 54, lined up to obtain their marriage license.
Approximately 200 people were present for the nuptials, which was held at the Japanese American National Museum. Former Trek co-star Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) served as the Best Lady while Walter Koenig (Chekov) played the role of Best Man.

Jennifer Hudson Engaged to I Love New York Star

Earlier this year, singer Jennifer Hudson scored an engagement ring in the theatrical version of Sex and the City. Now the Academy Award winner is having the chance to celebrate for real.
This weekend, a rep for Hudson confirmed the American Idol star is now engaged. Boyfriend David Otunga proposed Friday night during a bash for Jennifer’s 27th birthday.
Although many had thought Jennifer would eventually wed her longtime beau from Chicago (the man she acknowledged in her acceptance speech), the two broke up in late 2007 after 8 years together. This engagement to Otunga (also from Chicago) comes after less than a year of dating.
