Last January, Sandra Bullock publicly praised husband Jesse James for having her back. Now, almost exactly a year later, Bullock's ex-husband is publicly praising the woman who "stood behind" him.
In a statement issued to People magazine, the “most hated man in the world" gushed about tattoo artist Kat Von D, his new fiancee.
"You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs. I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said 'yes.' Growing old with her is going to be a f----n' blast!

The reality star -- who recently tweeted that she "woke up with a whole new look" -- was snapped with her new cornrows in Los Angeles this week.
Not a fan of the new 'do? Don't worry. The hairstyle is apparently a result of the new music video the aspiring singer has been filming with Kanye West.

American Idol’s Crystal Bowersox Weds

American Idol’s ninth season runner-up, Crystal Bowersox, celebrated her wedding to fellow musician Brian Walker on 10-10-10.
The songstress announced the news to her fans via Twitter: “Officially mamasox!!!” She enthusiastically tweeted. “I mean walkersox!!!”
Crystal wore a hemp and cotton gown made by Tara Lynn. She wed near Chicago in an intimate ceremony with 60 guests.

Comedian Greg Giraldo Dead at Age 44

UPDATE: TMZ reports that Giraldo’s family had pulled him off life support.
Comedian Greg Giraldo, best known to television audiences for his work on Last Comic Standing and the Comedy Central roasts, died today in New Jersey. He was 44 years old.
Giraldo’s passing comes less than a week after he was hospitalized for an accidental overdose. According to friends of the funnyman, he had been taking prescription pills. His death is not being considered a suicide.

Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Tests, Comes Clean

Less than a month after completing a stint in rehab, actress Lindsay Lohan faces more jail time.
The Machete actress, who recently served nearly two weeks in jail, admitted late last night that she has fallen back into old habits. Her confession came hours after TMZ reported that Lindsay had failed two court-ordered drug tests.
According to the site, a test taken last week reported positive for cocaine. Another test taken this week detected a different substance.
It was just this past Sunday when Lohan had joked about her troubles with Chelsea Handler on the Video Music Awards. At one point, the supposedly clean star had also been rumored for a possible hosting gig on Saturday Night Live.
Although she initially denied to Us Weekly that TMZ’s reports were true, she later acknowledged her setback through her own Twitter account.

Courtney Love Twitter-Scolds Daughter Frances Bean

Rocker Courtney Love is best-known, these days, for ranting via social media, Twitter and Facebook most often. Love released a new rant directed toward her daughter Frances Bean Cobain on Thursday, just one day after Frances’ eighteenth birthday.
The various posts (and there are several) accuse Frances of destroying Courtney’s life. One reads: “youve done a damned good job frances of destroying anything i could build.” Another: “Why would you leave me and my life in tatters like this.”
Moment later, Love abruptly changed tactics with this: “I long for your kiss and your sweet head smell, I long for youm I ache for youm I die for you every day.”
Courtney Love lost guardianship of Frances less than one year ago. The two have been engaged in public warfare ever since. France Bean Cobain is the only daughter of Courtney Love and the late music icon Kurt Cobain.

Emma Watson officially said goodbye to her years as Hermione Granger when she decided to make a bold and “liberating” move: she cut her hair.
The 20-year-old, who kept her shearing plans to herself, revealed the new look to fans through Facebook and Twitter.
“Yes, I cut my hair off a few days ago! I love it- feels incredible. Hope you like it!,” the Harry Potter star tweeted about her Mia Farrow-esque style. “I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever,” she added on her wall.

A Kim Kardashian fan is on the brink of committing the ultimate act of flattery.
A Twitterer named @brisajohnson wrote “I’m getting head 2 toe plastic surgery nxt week 2 look like @kimkardashian so my husband won’t leave me. He worships her.”
Kardashian responded to the fan, urging her not to do it.
“Pls don’t. Ur husband should love u 4 who u are! Don’t try 2 b someone else. Im sure u are beautiful inside and out! Just as u are.” She added: “Don’t change yourself for anybody but yourself…be happy with who u are! Someone will appreciate and adore u just as you are.”
Easy for Kim Kardashian to say.
