Stephenie Meyer blames herself for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's troubles. The Twilight Saga author admitted she feels guilty that the pair's real life relationship has been scrutinized so closely after they played lovers Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the movie adaptations of her books and claimed they hate the attention.

Asked if she feels guilty, she told The Times, "Absolutely. Here's the thing: there are some actors who are looking to be world famous, to be that household name, and although they might discover that there are a lot of negative things involved in that, it's what they want. But that doesn't apply to Kristen and Rob. That's what makes it kind of ironic and tragic."

Stephenie admitted the main source of her guilt comes from the fact that they have had to deal with all of the public attention, which she has escaped it: "I just don't think they enjoy the parts [of fame] that other people would. And I totally get that, because it would not be my thing either. At the same time - and this is where the guilt comes from - it's created this nice, peaceful place for me. They took all of my heat, which I feel bad about. If they had the choice, I've no idea if they'd even do Twilight again. I just don't know. I think this has all come at a heavy price."

Robert Pattinson wants to keep his relationship with Kristen Stewart "professional."

The 26-year-old actor will appear with his ex-girlfriend at the international premieres of the final Twilight Saga film because he wants to prove he can overlook her actions for the sake of his fans. "It's a purely business decision. He's keen to make sure fans and Hollywood see he can be professional when it comes to Kristen," a source told The Sun.

However, the heartbroken star is still refusing to discuss the 22-year-old brunette beauty in interviews and wants to keep all press relevant to the film. This comes after Kristen announced "we're going to be fine. We're totally fine," when she was quizzed about promoting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 with Robert in November. "We have been waiting for this thing to be unleashed for so long. It was sort of one of those situations where you just have to put yourself in your body and go appreciate the moment," she added.

Robert Pattinson Embarrassed About Faking Orgasm

Robert Pattinson says that faking an orgasm for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 was "embarrassing."

The hunky actor filmed a sex scene with real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart for the vampire movie, and although he was happy with the result, he admitted having the entire crew watch as they shot the sequence wasn't a pleasant experience.

"We were staring into the camera doing orgasm faces and stuff and it becomes unbelievably embarrassing. But I think it ended up good at the end I think."

Robert has previously revealed he wanted more "thrusting" in the sex scene: "It wasn't me, it was Kristen. I'm still doing the same thing, the general movement. Normally you have problems with ratings like nudity, but this was literally about the movement. Thrusting! They kept telling me not to move. They wanted to have a leash so you couldn't thrust past a certain point. Just the tip or something! That doesn't mean anything; it's just a figure of speech. I mean, they want to see thrusting, not probing."
