R. Kelly Blames ‘The Notebook’ For His Divorce

The R&B singer says that he decided to divorce his former back up dancer wife after seeing The Notebook. Writing in his book Soulacoaster, he explained that his 12-year legal union could not compare to the love Ryan's character had with Rachel McAdams':
"As the film credits started to roll, I couldn't move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. The Notebook was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together. But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine's Day - when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses - that had come and gone ... My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back."
However R. Kelly's ex has stated that she doesn't believe the romantic motion picture truly caused their split. "[The movie] came out in 2004 and we saw it together. Our divorce wasn't finalized until 2009 so it's impossible that the movie could have been the reason for our relationship ending," she said. "We had been separated for 6 years at that point! The movie definitely did not end our relationship!"

Kendall Jenner hopes her sister Kourtney Kardashian is expecting a girl. Reality TV star Kourtney recently revealed she is expecting her second child with boyfriend Scott Disick in May and Kendall wants them to have a baby girl this time because she thinks their firstborn son, Mason, two, would be a protective big brother.
"I want [Kourtney] to have a girl. It would be so cute because when they're older, Mason could be like the protective big brother. And I feel like Kourtney could have fun with a girl-dress her up in little tutus and everything," said Kendall.
16-year-old Kendall - who is set to star in her own reality TV show with sister Kylie, 14 - also revealed she wants to break into acting and has a huge crush on Ryan Gosling: "I wouldn't do acting as my full-time career. But I think it would be fun to do something just for fun, just to do a movie for fun. I love movies like The Notebook. That's why I like Ryan Gosling. I love those romantic movies that you wish could happen to you but they never do."

Although they did their best to keep their distance last month, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling are now letting their guards down.
The two Canadians, co-stars in 2004’s The Notebook, were caught in several embraces outside a restaurant in Toronto yesterday. Ryan, 27, and Rachel, 31, previously dated for 18 months before breaking the hearts of romantics last year.
Oh, I really hope this reunion works out for them. Seriously - could they be any cuter?

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling Reunited?

Those still recovering from 2004’s The Notebook may find a little light of hope in this bit of news. Despite breaking up last year, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling have recently been spotted together again!
After dating for approximately 18 months, romantics everywhere were devastated when the co-stars finally called it quits. Gosling even addressed those emotional fans in an interview with GQ last year:
“God bless The Notebook. It introduced me to one of the great loves of my life. But people do Rachel and me a disservice by assuming we were anything like the people in that movie. Rachel and my love story is a hell of a lot more romantic than that.”
Statements like that are why many hope for a reconciliation. So when I heard that McAdams had visited Gosling earlier this week, I was sadly giddy. The Wedding Crashers star came to support Ryan at his DJing debut in Los Angeles on Tuesday. And thankfully for the press, the two actually allowed photogs to snap pictures of them together outside the club.
Now - if they didn’t want people to think that they were together again…wouldn’t they exit separately? Wouldn’t they??
