The Monkees star Davy Jones was laid to rest in a private funeral near his home in Florida yesterday.
The "Daydream Believer" singer - who passed away aged 66 from a heart attack last Thursday - was cremated in a small ceremony attended by family including his wife, Jessica Pacheco and four daughters from previous marriages: Talia Elizabeth, 43, Sarah Lee, 40, Jessica Lillian, 30, and 23-year-old Annabel Charlotte.

Davy Jones will be buried in Florida, a representative of the singer has confirmed.
The Monkees star - who was born in Manchester, North West England - will be laid to rest in the state, where he lived with his wife Jessica Pacheo, following his death from a heart attack aged 66 earlier this week. No further details of the funeral have been announced, while public memorials are being planned in New York and the UK to mark the singer's life, but exact dates are yet to have been confirmed, TMZ.com reports.

The Monkees Singer Davy Jones Dies

The Monkees singer Davy Jones has died, aged 66.
The lead singer of the "Daydream Believer" group - which also consists of original members Micky Dolenz, 66, and 70-year-old Peter Tork - passed away from a heart attack earlier today, a representative confirmed to TMZ.com. An official from the medical examiner's office for Martin County, Florida, told the website they received a phone call from the Martin Memorial Hospital informing them that Davy had died.
Davy leaves behind four daughters, Talia Elizabeth, 43, and Sarah Lee, 40 from his marriage to Linda Haines, and Jessica Lillian, 30, and 23-year-old Annabel Charlotte from his marriage to Anita Pollinger. The pop icon - who was born in Manchester, North West England - married 33-year-old TV presenter Jessica Pacheo - who he met in 2006 - in August 2009.
In May 2011, the singer said he was having some of the happiest times he's ever had in his life with Jessica: "We have love. We have friendship. She's also aware of what I've done in music, and the fact that I no longer really need to prove anything."
