Charlie Sheen is recovering quickly from his terrible performance in Detroit in the best possible way: with humor. The actor has released a 7-minute spoof his 20/20 interview, and you can see the whole thing above.
We’ve watched it, and we think this version is better than the original -- which aired last month on ABC. Sheen seems unafraid to laugh at himself in the segment, sporting different T-shirts, over-using his catchphrases, even chain-smoking.
The video should do wonders for his comedy tour, which is going strong despite the Motor City flub.

Leslie Nielsen, Beloved Funnyman, Dead at 84

Leslie Nielsen, 84, passed away Sunday due to complications from pneumonia. During his 60-year Hollywood career, Nielsen portrayed memorable characters in Airplane!, The Naked Gun and dozens of other films. Nielsen’s wife and several friends were with him when he died.
Nielsen starred in The Poseidon Adventure, See How They Run and several other serious dramatic films before he scored a role in 1980’s Airplane!. That comedic role helped propel Nielsen to stardom.

Now that pictures of Jon Gosselin with a new girlfriend have surfaced, it’s time to take a look at what the reality star - and his soon-to-be ex-wife - are looking for in a partner.
In the clip above for “Match.com,” a Kate Gosselin look-alike explains that her man would have to appreciate “backward mullets.” She would also like to find someone who loves “Chocolate World, casual wear from Chicos, skorts..and doesn’t mind stretch marks. An obscene amount of stretch marks.”

Vice President Palin: Is the World Ready?

Pundits and political professionals have spent the last several months repeatedly asking the same question: is America ready to be led by someone who is outside the accepted status quo? In other words, could we have a non-white President? It’s been one of the hottest topics of the year, and it gave Barack Obama a lot of attention with the press. That is, until McCain pulled his trump card.
Otherwise known as Sarah Palin. Attractive, conservative, Yankee-ish and much, much younger than McCain, Palin has helped to change the feel of the entire campaign. Could she change the entire election? The media has been asking, for several months, if America is really ready to be led by a black man. Now, there’s another big question on the table. Is the world ready for the likes of Sarah Palin - that self-styled bulldog-in-lipstick-hockey-mom who can’t keep her Yahoo business private and somehow found herself on the nation’s biggest political stage?
Not that it matters much, but Matt Damon doesn’t seem to think so.
