‘No Evidence’ of Police Sexual Assault on Amanda Bynes

Amanda BynesNo evidence has been found to support Amanda Bynes' claim she was "sexually harassed" by a police officer when she was arrested last Thursday night.

The Easy A actress had accused one of the arresting officers of entering her New York City apartment illegally, slapping her vagina and lying about her throwing a bong out of the window in front of him. After Amanda made her complaint, Internal Affairs investigated the serious allegations made by the 27-year-old star but could find nothing to corroborate her claims and have concluded all officers acted appropriately and professionally.

John Travolta to Pay Settlement?

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaJohn Travolta is reportedly in talks to agree a settlement with one of the men who accused him of sexual battery.

The actor has been the subject of accusations from a number of male masseurs, with two filing lawsuits against him, and though the proceedings were later dropped, his legal representatives are said to be working on a financial agreement with one of the men.

"John Travolta's lawyer is currently in settlement talks with one of the accusers. The goal is to have a settlement reached very quietly and quickly because John just wants this scandal to go away. No money has been paid yet, but it's almost a done deal. It will be an out of court settlement and John Travolta's name won't even be in the agreement to ensure complete confidentiality, along with a clause that states if the man ever goes public with his story, he will be sued for at least twice the amount of the settlement," a source said.

The accuser currently in negotiations with John's team claim he was groped by the actor within the last two years, which is within the limitations of being able to file a civil lawsuit, which he is prepared to do if a settlement isn't reached.

John Travolta’s Bahamas Hideaway

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaJohn Travolta is hiding out in the Bahamas.

The actor has recently been accused of sexual misconduct from a number of male masseurs - which he denies - and has reportedly jetted off to a vacation home in the Bahamas with his wife Kelly Preston and children Ella, 12, and 18-month-old Benjamin to ride out the scandal, according to E! News. The house is not the same property where John and Kelly's 16-year-old son Jett tragically died in January 2009.

Earlier this week the family spent time in Florida at their home in the gated Jumbolair aviation community and a nearby Scientology building, where onlookers said they appeared "normal."

"He was at Jumbolair, the whole family, acting like everything was normal," the witness explained.

The sightings of family unity come after it was claimed Kelly told friends she has "had enough" following the allegations and the publication of pictures the star dressed as a woman at a private event in 1997, and had decided to leave her husband.

Has Kelly Preston Left John Travolta?

Kelly Preston and John TravoltaKelly Preston has reportedly walked out on John Travolta.

The 49-year-old actress is said to have told friends she has "had enough" following a string of allegations against the star of sexual misconduct from a number of male masseurs, and the publication of pictures the star dressed as a woman at a private event in 1997.

"Kelly told me their marriage is over and made it clear that she's no longer living in the family home. She's put up with John's double life for decades while his behavior remained in the shadows. But all this coming out in public has humiliated her. Kelly is absolutely destroyed," a source told The National Enquirer.

The photographs, which were obtained by The National Enquirer, show the 58-year-old actor at a party in Los Angeles wearing a white dress with a bra visible underneath, a brown belt, fur stole, earrings and a necklace, and wears eyeliner, pink lipstick and a blonde wig.

John TravoltaJohn Travolta has been accused of sexual assault by two more men.

The Pulp Fiction star has now been accused of making unwanted sexual advances by seven men in total after two new accusers - a Miami-based masseur at the Eden Roc Resort called Jeff and a former hotel employee in Seattle - allege that the married actor groped them and solicited them for sex.

Jeff claims that John "started getting aggressive" when the masseur wouldn't do what the 58-year-old Hollywood star wanted during a massage in Miami in 2000, the New York Daily News reports.

The Seattle-based hotel worker alleges John touched his bottom after cornering him as he was cleaning up a guest room following a Qantas event in 2000. "He came up right behind me and grabbed my ass," he said.

John Travolta Accuser Could File Charges Again

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaA masseur who dropped sexual battery charges against John Travolta may still launch another suit against the star.

The man - known only as John Doe #1 - filed papers yesterday to have the allegations dismissed but has now hired another lawyer, civil rights attorney Gloria Allred, who has admitted her new client is deciding what to do next.

"I represent John Doe Number One. Mr. Doe's lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses. We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take. Our client and our firm has no further comment at this time," said Ms. Allred.

The man - who claimed Travolta had behaved inappropriately during a massage on January 16 in Los Angeles - was dropped by his lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, after the actor's attorney Marty Singer provided evidence that suggested the Pulp Fiction star was in New York at the time of the alleged incident. The masseur later claimed to have gotten his dates confused.

John Travolta Accuser Drops Claim

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaA man who filed sexual battery charges against John Travolta has filed papers to dismiss the case.

The masseur - who has been named only as John Doe #1 - had originally accused the actor of assaulting him on January 16 at the Beverly Hills hotel but made an application in California this morning to have the lawsuit dismissed.

A second masseur - known as John Doe #2 - is still pursuing his claim, which alleges the Pulp Fiction star sexually assaulted him in an Atlanta hotel. The second man's lawyer, Okorie Okorocha - who had dropped the first masseur as a client when he claimed he had the date of the alleged assault wrong after Travolta was able to prove he was elsewhere - insists he intends to pursue the allegation as far as possible.

"Believe me, he's not going anywhere. He was really traumatized by this. He went to the doctor for anxiety. This is somebody in the south, not Beverly Hills. When a brother is going to the doctor for anxiety, it has to be pretty bad," the lawyer told The New York Daily News.

John Travolta Accuser Wants Private Trial

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaA masseur who accused John Travolta of sexual assault is willing to drop his federal proceedings against the star.

The unnamed man - who is known as John Doe #2 - is willing to have the matter settled in a private trial, though no deal has yet been agreed with the actor's legal representative Marty Singer. "I can dismiss the federal filing and we can set up our own private trial. I'm willing to do that, and I've proposed that to Marty Singer. [Singer] hasn't agreed, but he hasn't said no. We are speaking, but we haven't hammered something out. He wants to fight this thing all the way through. They've made it clear. I'm ready to fight. I might leave in a bodybag, but never in cuffs. It would be a great case to see on Court TV, to see the royal rumble," the masseur's lawyer Okorie Okorocha told the New York Daily News newspaper.

The lawyer believes a private trial would be much faster than public proceedings and maintain the privacy of his client - the second man to have stepped forward to have made accusations against the Pulp Fiction star - whom he describes as a "reserved" family man.

"Okorocha did not feel he could represent John Doe #1 going forward anymore and recommend him finding another lawyer," a source told RadarOnline.com.

But Okorocha will continue to represent a second masseur - who is known only as John Doe #2 - who has also made sexual assault claims against the star, although John's attorney Marty Singer has vehemently denied both allegations.
