Rihanna's dad told her to lose weight - because she was getting "too fat."
The "You Da One" singer has recently shed a quite a few pounds and her father, Ronald Fenty, believes he was the one who inspired her after telling her she looked fat.
"I actually thought she was a little fat the last time I saw her. But when I saw her at this year's Grammys, I thought she was back to her normal size. I used to joke with her, 'Robyn, [Rihanna's first name], you're getting too fat.' But I think she's fine. I think she looked excellent, as everyone saw, at the Grammys. She's dieting, she's working out," said Ronald, who has a turbulent relationship with his famous daughter.
Ronald also revealed how he is fine with the fact Rihanna may have rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, despite him being convicted of assaulting her in 2009: "Chris is a nice guy and everybody's entitled to make mistakes in their life - God knows how many I've made. She's her own woman now."

Rihanna Heads to Hawaii For Break
Rihanna is spending her holiday in Hawaii to reportedly escape her frustrations over Chris Brown.
The "We Found Love" hitmaker has fled the US mainland for a vacation after learning her ex-boyfriend - who was convicted of assaulting her in 2009 - has got a tattoo of his new partner Karrueche Tran's face. Chris is said to be so besotted with the Vietnamese model that he opted for an inking of her on his left arm, The Sun newspaper reports.
However, Rihanna seemed to be less than thrilled at the new body art, as she let rip on Twitter: "Cuz of u I'm on some real f**k a n***a s**t! "U wanna be my main squeeze n***a, don't ya? So what n***a, I'm not tryna hear that s**t! (sic)"

Rihanna Supports Katy Perry
Katy Perry is being supported by Rihanna following the breakdown of her marriage. The "Firework" hitmaker - who spent the festive period in Hawaii with friends - has shared a number of heart-to-heart phone calls with her pal as she deals with her split from British comic Russell Brand after 14 months of marriage and the "We Found Love" singer has been a "great support" in helping her cope.
"Katy is hardly speaking to anyone right now, but she called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce. Katy was embarrassed about calling her parents as they'd been so against Russell in the first place, but Rihanna was a great support for her and she really helped to calm her down," said a source.
Rihanna is now said to be planning a holiday to Mexico with Katy to help her get over Russell. "Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she's on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head," a source said.

Chris Brown Trashes Good Morning America Set

Not everybody can handle daytime TV. After being interviewed by Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts, Chris Brown freaked out and trashed his dressing room before storming out of the studio. Think he’s a little touchy about his shady past?
The singer was visibly upset during the interview, when Roberts pressed him for answers regarding his infamous attack on Rihanna. Brown was on GMA to promote F.A.M.E., his newest album, and tried to keep the interview on this topic. “This album is what I want them to talk about and not what happened two years ago,” he said at one point.
After his first performance (two were initially scheduled), Brown went into his dressing room and starting trashing the place. TMZ captured pictures of the large window he smashed, damage one source says was done with a chair.

Kristen Stewart and Twilight Lead People’s Choice Award Winners

Kristen Stewart and the Twilight Saga were the big winners at last night's People's Choice Awards.
The 20-year-old actress beat the likes of Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie to win Favorite Movie Actress, while Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the latest installment in the vampire film franchise picked up three awards, including Favorite Movie. Surpassing The Social Network and Inception for the gong, Eclipse also won Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite On-Screen Team - for Kristen, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner - at the event, which was held at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.
"Thank you so much, I've never been to the People's Choice Awards before," Kristen said.

Katy Perry, Russell Brand Arrive in India

Katy Perry hid herself under her coat as she arrived in India for her wedding ceremony. The "Teenage Dream" singer and her husband-to-be, comedy actor Russell Brand, tried to avoid photographers at Mumbai airport yesterday, with Katy seemingly determined to keep her "Nath" - a traditional piece of Indian jewelry extending from her right ear to her nostril - under wraps.
The couple then flew to the city of Jaipur before taking a three hour drive to the luxury Aman-I-Khas resort, on the edge of a tiger reserve, where they are believed to be tying the knot on Saturday. Katy's parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, had earlier arrived at the resort - where guests sleep in 'eco-chic' luxury tents. Rihanna was also expected to arrive yesterday.
Russell, 35, and Katy, 25, are believed to have booked the resort for a week, and hired wedding planner Mindy Weiss to arrange the ceremony. They are rumored have four days of activities planned for guests in the run up to the ceremony, including a tiger safari and feast. A "Katy and Russell kicked things off by holding a Lagna, or engagement, ceremony," a source revealed.

Bachelorette Katy Perry Parties in Vegas

Katy Perry needs a “liver transplant” after partying with Rihanna for her bachelorette bash. The “Teenage Dream” singer enjoyed a “risque” night with around 25 female friends in Las Vegas on Saturday night, including her pop star pal, ahead of her upcoming wedding ceremony. “Signing up for a liver transplant now,” she posted on her Twitter page.
According to OKmagazine.com, the group wore “typical risque bachelorette-themed party items” - with Katy wearing a hat and veil with the word “Bride” attached - as they enjoyed food and drinks at the Casino Tower and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The women then jumped into a stretch limousine and were driven to the MGM Grand, where they watched a performance of Ka by Cirque du Soleil.

Elvis to Wed Russell Brand and Katy Perry?

Comedian Russell Brand wants to get married by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
The Get Him to the Greek star insists he and fiancee Katy Perry have not yet finalized plans for their forthcoming nuptials, but would consider tying the knot in Las Vegas.
“Now we’re talking, the drive-thru chapel. A Vegas wedding, married by Elvis Presley, or even better, Aaron Presley in his unnourished form,” he joked.
However, despite previously being branded a “total bridezilla” by Katy, Russell, 34, insists he is leaving the wedding planning to the 25-year-old singer: “If you’re getting married, the girl does it. I’m I helping? No way, man. I’m just looking out the window.”
Despite Katy’s friend Rihanna previously claiming the couple plan to marry in India, Katy insists they have not yet found a location but admits they are looking to go abroad. She told Ryan Seacrest, “I haven’t told Rihanna where we’re getting married actually. She thought we were getting married in India because we got engaged there. I hope it to be in a location because I think it’s better to take people out of their comfort zones. I think it’s going to be small for right now because there’s so much biggness going on in our lives. There will be receptions and parties. Everybody knows that I love to throw a good party.”
Hope for Haiti Telethon Success

Madonna, Beyonce Knowles and Tom Cruise joined George Clooney in yesterday’s telethon to raise funds for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
The telethon - broadcast from Los Angeles, New York and London - saw more than 140 stars come together to perform and raise funds to aid relief in the Caribbean state, which has been struck by two huge earthquakes in the last two weeks, leaving hundreds of thousands dead.
“This is a tragedy that reaches across all borders, all boundaries. It demands our attention, our help and our compassion. The Haitian people need help. They need to know that they are not alone. They need to see that we still care,” George said.
While Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Coldplay, Rihanna, Sting, Stevie Wonder and Sheryl Crow all performed, addresses were made from ex-US president Bill Clinton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman and Samuel L. Jackson. Manning the telephones were some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, including director Steven Spielberg and actors Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson, Reese Witherspoon and Penelope Cruz.
The two-hour broadcast collected money via the internet and text message as well as phone donations, and is expected to raise over $150 million.
