Natalie Portman to Get French Nationality
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Features,
Natalie Portman plans to become a French citizen.
The actress is hoping to legally adopt the same nationality as her husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and would even consider changing the spelling of her name to be welcomed across the Atlantic.
"I don't have the French nationality, but I would be love to get it. But I don't know if it's possible because I already have an American and an Israeli passport ... Perhaps I should add an 'h' to my name to make it sound more French [Nathalie]? My father named me after a song by Gilbert Becaud. I grew up in a very Francophile atmosphere," she said.
The couple and their two-year-old son Aleph are planning to move to Paris next year and have already begun house-hunting for the perfect pad in the French capital. "We're looking for an apartment! Benjamin and I are moving in autumn 2014 when his job at the Paris Opera Ballet starts. It's obviously a massive change to quit Los Angeles for Paris. I don't know what my life is going to be like, but I'm so excited," she confirmed.

Brandon Flowers Won’t Leave Las Vegas
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Features,
Brandon Flowers won't leave Las Vegas as he is gripped by a "weird fear" about what could happen if he moves.
The "Mr. Brightside" singer grew up in the city, which is famous for its casinos and readily available vices, and now lives there with his wife Tana and their three sons Ammon, five, Gunnar, three, and 18-month-old Henry.
Although he is teetotal and a non-gambler, Brandon has no intention of moving to another American city because he feels he has a spiritual connection to Las Vegas: "I'm gripped by some weird fear. I'm so attached to it, I feel like I would lose some part of my identity."
The 31-year-old musician also believes life in "Sin City" prepares him for life on the road with The Killers. "Even if your family wasn't doing it you knew about the hookers and strip clubs. I get that there's a bunch of musicians they say go there to die, and people are losing their money - I think my brain bypasses on that. I thrive off the energy of that gold rush, the idea of people coming there for that and the neon stuff," he explained.

Benedict Cumberbatch Wants to Move to America
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Television,
Benedict Cumberbatch is thinking of moving from Great Britain to live in America.
The 36-year-old actor - who was educated at the top private school Harrow - says he is sick of attacks on his privileged background. The Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy star, whose parents were actors, said that "all the posh-bashing that goes on" made him consider moving to the United States.
"I wasn't born into land or titles, or new money, or an oil rig," he said. But Benedict said that he had been "castigated as a moaning, rich, public-school bastard, complaining about only getting posh roles." He continued, "It's just so predictable ... so domestic, and so dumb... It makes me think I want to go to America."
The star - who is to play an Edwardian aristocrat in BBC1 period drama Parade's End, said he enjoyed becoming a pin-up after Sherlock. "It puts a bit of a spring in your step. It's nice, you swagger a little bit, it's enjoyable. I've punched well above my weight this year. And that remains very much a secret ... I find it hysterically funny ... It's a giggle. I wield it with a massive smile," he admitted.
