Brandon Flowers Will Never Drink Again

Brandon Flowers never wants to get drunk again. The Killers frontman - who is a practicing Mormon - doesn't really enjoy drinking alcohol and has no desire to get intoxicated in the future, despite booze being so prevalent in rock 'n' roll.
"I have been drunk. I haven't drank in five or six years. And I will probably never be drunk again," he said.
Brandon - who was born and lives in Las Vegas - also doesn't drink coffee as it's against the rules of Mormonism, which is a form of Christianity. "There's no doctrine about not drinking Coca-Cola. Coffee is still frowned upon. It's the caffeine. I think people become reliant on coffee. And that can't necessarily be a good thing," he said in an interview with The Guardian.
The 31-year-old musician - who has three children, Ammon, Gunner, and Henry, with his wife Tana - is strict with almost everything that he puts into his body and he has the same breakfast every day as he finds being in a routine comforting: "I have the same thing every day. I find it comforting. I have a banana, but I can never eat the whole banana. And I'll drink a couple of Actimels (healthy yogurt drink). And some kind of cereal with almond milk. And then after that I have a Coke."

Mila Kunis Converting to Kabbalah

Mila Kunis is thinking about converting to Kabbalah.
The Ted actress was spotted accompanying her boyfriend Ashton Kutcher to Rosh Hashanah holiday services at the Kabbalah Center in New York City last month. "The men and women were separated (during the service), but Ashton always smiled at her. They were clapping and praying. She was taking it all in," a source told Us Weekly.
The couple were seen arriving at the center holding hands on September 18. Following the service, the Two and a Half Men actor reportedly "ran to embrace her."
The 34-year-old actor began following the sect in 2003 with his now-estranged wife Demi Moore. The couple turned to a Kabbalah counselling center in a bid to save their marriage after he cheated on her last year. Ashton is said to be determined to make his new relationship with his 29-year-old former That 70s Show co-star last.

Tom Cruise is getting special treatment from Scientology leaders.
The 50-year-old actor has allegedly been granted exclusive visitation privileges to see his daughter Suri since his divorce from Katie Holmes thanks to his A-list status, despite Scientology normally banning members from contacting those who have left the church.
Nancy Many, ex-president of the religion's Celebrity Center, told RadarOnline, "They have already bent the rules for Tom. If Tom was any other Scientologist, including lesser celebrities, he would not be allowed to continue seeing and maintaining communication with Katie or Suri, because they are no longer in Scientology. So far, because of who he is, Cruise has spent time with Suri, which has already upset the parents and children of existing Scientologists who can't talk to their loved ones. If he is supposed to be a Scientologist, why don't the rules for every other member apply to him?"
The Mission Impossible actor hasn't seen Suri, 6, since their fun-filled trip to Disney World on August 5, and even missed her first day of school due to filming new action flick All You Need Is Kill in London.

Carmen Llywelyn, who was married to the former My Name Is Earl star for six years says the church's meddling in every aspect of their relationship, including their sex lives, helped to end their union in 2001:
"Scientology broke my heart, almost more than Jason did. When you get married and you have that dynamic of family and children there is that entity, that other extra part, that is involved in so much of the intimate details that at this point in my life I couldn't imagine being a mature woman so mature that I had children and actually allow it, literally, into my bedroom. The church goes into your bedroom. When you're in session and you're going through the auditing process, if a question comes up or a thought comes up that has to do with your husband or an intimate sexual detail, you are required to say it. I don't want to get too gross, but [it would] have to do with sexual positions."

Jon Voight has supported Jane Pitt's views on gay marriage.
Brad Pitt's mother recently wrote a letter to her local paper in support of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in which she revealed she doesn't support same sex marriage or abortion, and the Deliverance actor - the father of Brad's fiancee Angelina Jolie - thinks she has a right to express her opinions. "Good for her!" he said.

Jane - mother of her fiance Brad Pitt - recently wrote a letter to her local paper in support of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in which she revealed she doesn't support same sex marriage or abortion, and her views have reportedly left Angelina angry.
"Jane has never wanted to talk politics with Angelina. She knew it would cause greater issues for them, and she wanted to try to have a relationship with the mother of her grandkids. She never thought her letter would be such a big deal," a source said.
Angelina and Brad are two of the most prominent gay rights campaigners in Hollywood, and at one time the actor stated he wouldn't marry the Salt star until same sex marriages were made legal across the US.

Katie Holmes Signed Confidentiality Agreement

The former couple - who split last month after five years of marriage - agreed conditions to end their union on Monday, with the terms said to include the actress agreeing not to speak about her estranged spouse's personal life or his religion, Scientology.
"Confidentiality was the key. If Katie hadn't signed up to remain silent it could have become a very messy legal battle," a source said.
Representatives with both stars have insisted the details of their settlement will be kept under wraps, though it is believed Katie will get primary custody of their six-year-old daughter Suri, with Tom allowed visitation rights. The welfare of the little girl was key to the pair resolving their split amicably and privately following initial speculation there would be a public court battle.

The 33-year-old actress and the 50-year-old star - who split late last month after five years of marriage - agreed a divorcement settlement earlier today, and insiders believe the brunette beauty will continue to live with their six-year-old daughter in New York City.
Katie is also thought to have insisted that Suri is accompanied by the actress' own team of bodyguards when she visits Tom to ensure she isn't indoctrinated into sci-fi cult Scientology. "Katie insisted that Suri's nanny and bodyguards always accompany her when she visits Tom. Katie did this for several reasons. This will ensure a smooth and easy transition for Suri when she is with Tom. Suri is Katie's number one priority. Tom only has Scientologists that work for him and Katie insisted that her staff will always be with their daughter. Under terms of the settlement, Suri isn't permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology related and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc. Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement," a source said.

Brad Pitt's mother Jane Pitt has "Christian" views on abortion and gay marriage.
The showbiz matriarch - whose son Brad is one of the most vocal supporters of gay rights in Hollywood - has written a letter to her local newspaper the News-Leader in Springfield, Missouri, urging people to vote for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, due to him being a "family man with high morals."
She also hits out at President Barack Obama because he supports the "killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage."
"I am ... a Christian and differ with the Mormon religion. But I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon. Any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney's opponent, Barack Hussein Obama - a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright's church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage," she wrote.

Rihanna’s Fling with Ashton Kutcher

Rihanna has reportedly been dating Ashton Kutcher for the past eight weeks.
The "You Da One" singer - who was seen leaving the Two and a Half Men star's Hollywood home in the early hours of Wednesday morning - is said to be smitten with Ashton after meeting him at a party of a mutual friend in December. And friends says she is so taken with Ashton she is considering joining his Kabbalah group.
"The flirting began as soon as Rihanna and Ashton met and swapped numbers. That moved on to texts and arranging to meet. They snuck off to a Santa Monica hotel a few weeks ago. They are two single people having a fling, so thought it would be best to meet in secret. Rihanna has told friends he's funny and cute. Both of them love a good time and think they're too busy for anything serious just yet. She's starting to enquire about Kabbalah sessions with his rabbi. She is curious about Kabbalah so has started asking questions. She's open to new things and has always been a very spiritual girl. If she and Ashton are getting really close, she wants to be able to understand it," a source told The Sun.
