Evan Rachel Wood Shocked by Manson Backlash

Evan Rachel Wood was stunned by how "mean" people were about her relationship with Marilyn Manson.
The Charlie Countryman actress was just 19 years old when she began her four-year romance with the goth rocker, who is 17 years older than her, and she thinks people should have been more accepting of her decisions, especially as she was just a teenager making her own mistakes.
"People were pretty mean. At the time I hadn't yet been exposed to that kind of cruelty from strangers. If people were wondering why I was acting so-called crazy or like a teenager, it's because I was. People go through phases. People make mistakes. People go through life and don't get it right every time," Evan - who has a four-month-old son with husband Jamie Bell - told the Daily Beast.
The 26-year-old actress - who began her acting career when she was nine years old - feels sorry for 18-year-old Justin Bieber for the criticism he faces for his behavior off stage: "I can't imagine what it's like to be [Bieber]. When you're a teenager in an adult career, people expect you to be perfect and expect you to never make mistakes or to be a reckless teenager. And then when you are, they give you such a really hard time for it. You have to remind them that you're still a kid. Like, do people remember when they were that age? On this global level, people freak out. They like to be high and mighty and say, 'Oh, look at that person. I've never done anything like that.' But yes you have. Everyone's been a crazy kid."

Nicole Scherzinger thinks that people "lose themselves to relationships."
The X Factor beauty - who split from Formula One racing pro Lewis Hamilton in June, ending their five-year relationship - finds that people often invest more than they should in their partner instead of living for themselves.
"Through the heartache it's been liberating. People lose themselves to relationships. You're living for the other person, putting so much in that you have to take a step back. Do things for yourself," she said.
Nicole wants to achieve more in her career before she settles down and has children because she plans to raise her children herself, like her mother Rosemary Elikolani did. "I definitely want kids - but not for a few years. My kids are going to be raised by me, the way my mum raised me. So I need to get my stuff out - albums, world tours, movies - and then try to do that," she added.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are seeking couples counseling.
The couple, whose four-year marriage has been rocked by allegations he cheated on her and has been battling an addiction to crack cocaine, have reportedly been visiting a prominent Beverly Hills therapist in a bid to iron out their problems.
"It was very emotional; they spoke about all of their issues. Khloe still loves and cares about him, but healing will take a long time," a source said. An insider also revealed that Lamar, 34, is "doing so much better," as he is "clean and has gained 20 pounds."
The couple put on a united front for the first time in months at Khloe's mother Kris Jenner's 58th birthday party last week. "It was just close family and friends. Lamar and Khloe are actually getting on very well and were couple-y together. It was very intimate and everyone was really pleased to spend time with them," a source revealed.

The Star Trek Into Darkness actress's beau, Marco Perego, whom she secretly tied the knot with in London in June, was spotted with a large oval portrait on his forearm for the first time, that resembles the 35-year-old beauty's famous face, as they strolled around Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
The couple looked happy and relaxed after enjoying dinner in Dominick's restaurant, according to UsMagazine.com. It was first revealed in September that Zoe, who split from Bradley Cooper in March 2012 after more than a year of dating, married her artist lover in an intimate ceremony over the summer.
The couple began dating in mid-May but have been friends for a long time. "It was super small but very romantic and beautiful," a source previously said.
Marco is a former professional soccer player but after his career was cut short due to a leg injury, he tapped into his creative side and impressively sold a piece to fashion icon Giorgio Armani at his very first art show.

Russell Brand has confirmed he is "in a relationship."
The 38-year-old comedian has been in an on/off relationship with Jemima Khan for the past couple of months and although he did not name the socialite he revealed at his A Brand New Politics talk last night that he is "in a relationship at the moment."
He made the confession to Huffington Post UK Political Director Mehdi Hasan at Shoreditch House, east London, during the intimate event hosted by the online news website. After the talk, Mehdi asked if he was rushing to catch a flight back to Los Angeles, to which Russell replied, "No, I'm going to see my girlfriend," adding, "Is the camera still on?"
Russell has been teasing about his romantic status after saying he is single at a stand-up show in Atlanta, Georgia, in September, telling the audience "I'm currently single."

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress admits her spouse of 11 years Freddie Prinze Jr. prepares the majority of the meals at home and he even enlists their daughter Charlotte Grace, four, to give a helping hand in the kitchen.
"I have my husband who is so incredibly hands-on. Thank God he can cook or I would probably never eat. We try to make [everything] a family thing, so we'll go to the farmer's market and Charlotte can pick out a piece of fish. And she and Freddie will go to the grill and she pretends to light her little grill."
The 36-year-old starlet, who gave birth to her second child Rocky in 2012, admits it can be tough being a working parent, but says Freddie, 37, and her own mother give her incredible support which has allowed her to return to work on new sitcom The Crazy Ones: "Working with one child was one thing, but working with two is entirely different. I had both my kids' birthdays, they turned four and one in a span of 24 hours, and we moved, and we launched the show."

Avril Lavigne feels under pressure to have a baby.
But the 29-year-old Canadian singer, who married Nickelback star Chad Kroeger, 38, in France in July and has been the subject of pregnancy rumors recently, admits she isn't quite ready to star a family just yet and is focusing on her new album.
The "Rock N Roll" hitmaker told the new online chat show The Lowdown with Diana Madison, "I do [feel pressure to start a family] now that I'm married. I want to be ready. I'm focusing on my music. I'm just releasing a new record. This is my priority and my baby right now."
The singer's self-titled new album will be released on November 5 and she feels very lucky that she and Chad often get to travel together to promote their music: "We actually have spent the majority of our relationship, like all of our time together. They went on the road for a little bit, and I was out with Nickelback on their tour, and then he travels with me, and now that we worked together on my record, we're together then."

The Pacific Rim actor - who has 11-year-old daughter, Isan, with his ex-wife Dormowa Sherman - admits the only women who approach him nowadays are autograph-hunters, and he misses the days before he was famous when he was more accessible to females.
"Look, you probably think I'm s***ging all the time. But there's no way. They're all my fans. I miss the days when me and my boys could go to a barbecue, and go, 'Who's that shorty [girl] over there?'"
Despite insisting fame has disrupted his ability to get close to women, the 41-year-old star is thankful for his "great career" but wouldn't mind if he never worked again should his upcoming film Long Walk to Freedom - in which he plays former South African President Nelson Mandela - be classed as a flop: "People are going to judge me for this role. I don't look like Mandela, some say I don't deserve it. Whatever. For me, it's important I am who I am, as I present this piece to the world. I'm 40 and I've had a great career. Eva Mendes says her mother "keeps track" of her private life on Google.
The 39-year-old actress - who has been in a two-year relationship with Ryan Gosling - explained her mum checks up on her using Internet search engines, but she is trying to discourage it.
"The way my mother keeps track of me is looking me up. I say, 'Please, mother, don't Google me!'" she told next month's Lucky.
Eva admitted her mother was concerned after seeing her "depleted" appearance in The Place Beyond the Pines, but insisted she would "do anything" for her art: "I'll do anything for a role. For [The] Place Beyond the Pines, I exercised a lot. I wanted my character to feel really depleted. My mum didn't understand why I would want to look that way. She's constantly telling me I'm too skinny."
