Anna Paquin Reveals She’s a Bisexual

I have a feeling True Blood fans will be viewing Sookie Stackhouse a lot differently from now on.
In a new PSA for Give a Damn, a campaign that fights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality, Oscar winner Anna Paquin makes a surprise announcement: “I’m bisexual.”
The 27-year-old, who is engaged to HBO co-star Stephen Moyer, joins a list of celebrities - gay and straight - for the cause. “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country,” Paquin states in the clip.
Others supporting organizer Cyndi Lauper in the campaign include Elton John, Jason Mraz, Whoopi Goldberg, Clay Aiken and Wanda Sykes.

Keira Knightley in Disturbing Domestic Violence PSA

If the violence reenacted by two random actors didn’t grab your attention, maybe this clip will.
Actress Keira Knightley and director Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) recently teamed up on their third project together. In this two-minute piece for the charity Women’s Aid, the duo create a disturbing glimpse of the violence many secretly endure in their homes every day.
The PSA was, of course, inspired by the highly-publicized event between Rihanna and Chris Brown.

PSA Describes Rihanna, Chris Brown Incident in Gory Detail

A new PSA from Do Something reenacts the details of the Rihanna/Chris Brown assault case, the events which could land Brown in prison.
In the video, two teenagers in a vehicle act out the alleged violence that occurred on February 8, 2009. A voice-over graphically, dispassionately describes the punching, biting and choking that were reported to have occurred between the famous couple.
At the end, the PSA closes with a frightening statistic: one in three teens are abused in their relationships. You can view the video in its entirety here.
