Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's lawsuit over their leaked engagement footage can go ahead, a judge has ruled.
The couple were taking legal action against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for posting a 150-second video of the rapper's lavish proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park stadium, but the tech entrepreneur had sought for the case to be dismissed on constitutional grounds, claiming it violated his rights to free speech. He also argued he wasn't informed he wasn't allowed to film or distribute the footage but a judge ruled yesterday that the word "CONFIDENTIALITY" could be seen clearly on a document he signed when entering the stadium.
And Chad could also face fraud charges, website TMZ reports, as the judge agreed with Kim and Kanye's view that his "wrangling" over the case has been "improper."

Mary-Kate Olsen reportedly rejected Olivier Sarkozy's first proposal.
The 27-year-old star has sparked rumors she's engaged to her beau after she was spotted wearing a ring last week, but a friend of the couple admits the French banker, 44, popped the question months ago and the blonde beauty turned him down at the time.
"He tried about a year ago, and she wasn't ready. She didn't need to be wined and dined. She wanted to make sure he would be good to her," a source said.
The couple - who first started dating in 2012 - are also reportedly "talking about trying to get pregnant." However, the former child star won't have any problems adapting to motherhood as she is already close to Olivier's children Julien, 12, and Margot, 10, whom he has with his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard. "Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids' special events. She thinks he's a great dad," a source previously said.

According to his publicist Jeff Ballard, the Anger Management star proposed to his girlfriend - porn star Brett Rossi - yesterday (Valentine's Day) while in Hawaii.
Sheen took to Twitter to eccentrically confirm the news himself, addressing Rossi by her nickname, Scottie:

Olivia Palermo has become engaged.
The 27-year-old fashion designer's long-term boyfriend Johannes Huebl popped the question to the brunette beauty on New Year's Eve while they were holidaying on the Caribbean island of St. Bart's, and he has since taken to his Instagram account to share the happy news. The German-born model, 27, uploaded a video of his stunning wife-to-be walking through luscious foliage before she is seen twirling around a palm tree to reveal her engagement ring. In a message accompanying the clip, he wrote, "Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said Y E S [sic]."
The couple have been dating since 2008 after meeting through mutual friends, and the pair appear to have been enjoying themselves on holiday after posting several pictures of their new year vacation. Olivia recently wrote, "Happy vacation w/ my man@johanneshuebl [sic]."
Johannes has previously told how he and Olivia have an "old romantic" approach to their relationship: "I think that I'm constantly learning, and we're both eager to learn about not only each other, but our interests. I think we have a very conservative, old romantic, private approach to our love."

Kelly Rowland has confirmed she is engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon.
The former Destiny's Child star - who was first rumored to have got engaged late last month after flaunting a diamond engagement ring in a short video on Instagram - will walk down the aisle with her on/off beau of four years after he popped the question over Skype.
The X Factor judge was in Bulgaria when Tim proposed to her, she recalled in an interview on The Queen Latifah Show, which airs tomorrow. "He put a ring on it! He asked me first on Skype and I was like, 'We're so far away from each other.' But it was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other ... and he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes," she gushed.

Lewis Hamilton to Propose to Nicole Scherzinger?

Lewis Hamilton wants to propose to Nicole Scherzinger in the New Year.
The couple, who ended their five-year romance in June, reportedly got back together a month ago and are trying to keep the reunion a secret, but Lewis has plans to pop the question after Christmas. "This will be the third time Lewis has planned to pop the question. But he believes this time is different. Both of them have benefited from the split, realizing it's impossible for them to be without each other. He wants to take Nicole to romantic Carmel and present her with the ring. There's no doubt in his mind she'll say 'yes,'" a close friend told The Daily Star.
The X Factor judge, 35, and the 28-year-old racing car driver have had a number of break-ups in the past, and the Nicole has reportedly told friends she wants to be "absolutely sure" before going public with their romance.
The pair celebrated Thanksgiving together at Lewis' parents' home last Thursday, sparking speculation they are in a relationship, but so far the former Pussycat Dolls singer has denied the rumors they are back together.

Proposal Surprised Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad had no idea her fiance was going to propose.
The Hills star's boyfriend, William Tell, popped the question earlier this month, and while she was overjoyed, it came to her completely out of the blue. "I had no idea it was coming. I thought he would wait until he finished law school," she told the new issue of Cosmopolitan.
Lauren added rocker William even managed to pick the right ring all by himself: "He didn't even ask my friends, which was a bold move. He said, 'I know you, and I know what you like.' And I love it. It's perfect."
While Lauren, 27, is planning to wed the Something Corporate star, 33, as early as next autumn, she added the nuptials are only a small part of their overall relationship: "You have the rest of your life to be married. Enjoy falling in love. When girls get caught up in the timeline, it becomes more about the wedding than the marriage. You should be with someone with whom you could elope this weekend and be happy. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are suing YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the rapper claim the billionaire "manipulated" his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco and released unauthorized footage of the moment the "New Slaves" hitmaker proposed to her on her 33rd birthday on October 21.
According to court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the couple are accusing Hurley of scheming to post the video of the intimate moment on his new Internet venture, MixBit. Their lawyer Eric George also trashes the entrepreneur, claiming Hurley is desperate to find a "second act" because two of his other businesses have flopped since he sold YouTube for $1.65 billion.
It was previously reported that Kanye invited Kim's close family and friends, along with several well known Silicon Valley founders to watch his surprise proposal, but Hurley wasn't invited and they only let him stay after he signed a confidentiality agreement. They attached a picture of him holding the agreement to the lawsuit, which also states, "Hurley proceeded to try to turn the event into one starring himself, broadcasting the images he knew were the exclusive property rights of someone else."

Lana Del Ray Turned Down Kanye West

Lana Del Ray refused to perform at Kanye West's surprise proposal to Kim Kardashian. The 36-year-old rapper popped the question to the reality TV star at AT&T Park in San Francisco on her 33rd birthday on October 21, and was forced to pay an orchestra $50,000 to play Lana's hit "Young & Beautiful" after the 27-year-old singer "politely declined" his request to sing the track, which is one of Kim's favorites, live.
"[Kanye] asked Lana to perform for Kim at surprise marriage proposal in San Francisco. Lana politely declined, and didn't give any reason for not being able to perform. It was a very firm no from Lana and her camp. Kanye did try to push it, but didn't get anywhere. Kanye decided to hire an orchestra to perform the song for Kim, and he was much happier with how it turned out," a source said. "Kim was bummed that Lana didn't perform for the big event, but she is still a huge fan. She just loved that Kanye tried to make it happen. Kim is jokingly saying Lana will want to perform at their wedding," the insider added.
