Mirror ball, schmirror ball. Two former participants of Dancing with the Stars have had much better things to celebrate in the past few weeks.
In an upcoming issue of Essence magazine, Laila Ali reveals that she will soon have an entirely new role to master. The professional boxer - and Season Four competitor - is now becoming a mom.
Laila, 30, married former NFL player Curtis Conway last July, just a few months after her dancing run ended. Although this will be the couple’s first child together, Conway, 37, already has two sons and a daughter.
Pregnant or not, Ali is still expected to return as co-host of American Gladiators this summer.

Singer Fergie Denies Pregnancy

Pregnancy rumors for Fergie have been coming non-stop ever since she became engaged last year. But recent pictures of her (like the one above) looking a bit puffier than normal really got the news hounds wondering. Could that bump be a baby bump?
Well according to the singer herself, no. In an interview with Extra, she explains why the media is so ready to believe the gossip is true: “I’m 5’4”, when I gain a couple of extra pounds—it shows. People just like to speculate.”
The singer goes on to say that she would actually like to get married to actor Josh Duhamel before anything like that happens. Marriage before pregnancy? Wow - that’s one I haven’t heard in a while!

While Britney Spears was busy prepping for her appearance on How I Met Your Mother, her little sister was making news of her own.
Jamie Lynn Spears - who recently passed her GED exam - is already planning for another significant event in her life. The 16-year-old is now set to get married. This announcement comes months after the Zoey 101 actress revealed that she was pregnant.
According to People, Jamie Lynn has been happily showing off a ring given to her by her baby’s daddy, Casey Aldridge. While no date has been yet been given for the wedding, the couple’s first child is due sometime this summer.

I just couldn’t help but grin when I saw this picture of Angelina Jolie and her brood today. If the rumors of her impending twins are true, this same scene will soon become quite a spectacle.
While I have always thought that Shiloh was absolutely adorable, I believe this may be the first time I have ever seen the blonde cutie smile. Too precious.

Actress Halle Berry and model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry have finally welcomed their first child together. The daughter was born Sunday morning reportedly at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
This is the first baby for the 41-year-old Oscar winner. She met Aubrey, 32, back in November 2005 when they worked together on a shoot for Versace. Berry, who has been married twice before, has openly said that she does not see herself doing it again.

Another Baby in the Works for Matt Damon and Wife

People is exclusively reporting that actor Matt Damon is the latest Ocean’s Eleven star on the baby bandwagon. (Casey Affleck and his wife, Summer, recently had a son; Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also expecting again.) This will be the second child for Matt and his wife, Luciana. Damon is also a stepfather to Luciana’s daughter from a previous marriage.
Last year, The Bourne Ultimatum star told Entertainment Weekly that being a new father (unexpectedly) helped him with his action role. Director Paul Greengrass said his sleepless nights actually translated well on camera.
Now that a new Bourne installment is in the works, maybe they should get production started soon? I mean Jason Bourne should really be tired of running by now, right?

Last night on Chelsea Lately, the late-night host revealed a surprising secret. After addressing an organization Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey have been working on, the comedienne sent a special shout out to the Bruce Almighty star:
Unfortunately, as juicy as that tidbit was—it apparently isn’t true. According to McCarthy’s rep, the actress is not pregnant. So why would Chelsea Handler taunt/freak out/panic Carrey like that? The host claims she only meant to be funny.
“Jenny wanted to play a joke on Jim. She’s not really pregnant, but hopefully I am.”
Hmmm….I wonder if she really was lying after all.

Another celebrity, another family leak.
For the third time in one week, a relative has been the source of baby gossip. Last week, Gwen Stefani‘s father-in-law leaked the news of her latest pregnancy. A few days later, Julianna Margulies’ mother-in-law announced her new grandchild’s birth. This time around, Jennifer Lopez‘s own father is the blabbing culprit. Granted, he didn’t spill anything the whole world didn’t already know.
In an interview with Escalando TV, David Lopez revealed that his daughter is not just packing on extra water weight—she is, in fact, pregnant with twins. (Cue the confetti.) Apparently multiples is something that runs in the family; J-Lo’s aunt also had twins.
The deliveries will be the first for Lopez. Her husband, Marc Anthony, has three kids from previous relationships.
