Michael Clarke Duncan Memorial Service Set for Monday
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Obituaries,
A memorial service for Michael Clarke Duncan will take place on Monday.
The actor died of natural causes earlier this week, two months after suffering a heart attack, and a private invitation-only service will be held next week. The memorial will be led by famed preacher Bishop Charles Blake and Dr. H. Beecher Hicks will read a eulogy.
A public viewing of Michael's casket is scheduled for Sunday at the Hall of Liberty in Forest Lawn, Los Angeles between 9am and 2pm. Since he passed away on Monday, aged 54, many have rushed to pay tribute to Michael, and offer their sympathies to his fiancee, Omarosa Manigault.
Bruce Willis, who appeared in four films with Michael, including The Whole Nine Yards and Sin City, said, "Michael Duncan was a great actor, a great human being, and he was my very dear friend. I will miss Big Mike in a Big Way."

Transformers Director Rushes to Shia LaBeouf’s Defense
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Television, Drunk, Legal Issues, Parties,
As we reported earlier, Transformers 2 star Shia LaBeouf may not be at fault for the accident he found himself in early Sunday morning, but he is still facing DUI charges.
Seeing as the powers that be apparently don’t want to see Shia turn out like his fellow Disney stars (i.e. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears), it appears as if his blockbuster-making pal, Michael Bay, has come to his rescue!
The Transformers director adamantly insists that his beloved actor was not intoxicated that night:
“He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before… We had a little heart to heart the week before when he bought a brand new motorcycle. I [said], ‘Dude! You cannot ride that motorcycle! If you crash, you put 1,500 people out of work.’ He said, ‘Ok, I won’t ride it, I won’t ride it. I’ll just drive my truck’.”
