Gary Oldman has spoken out to defend Mel Gibson over his anti-Semitic behavior.
The Dark Knight Rises actor has blasted the "political correctness" which has seen the Lethal Weapo actor shunned from the movie world over racist and anti-Jewish slurs he is alleged to have made in recent years: "I just think political correctness is crap. That's what I think about it. I think it's like, take a f***ing joke. Get over it."
Mel is said to have made anti-Jewish slurs while being arrested for drink-driving in Malibu, California in 2006 with police reporting that he told his arresting police officer, "F***ing Jews ... the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

Mel Gibson Romancing Film Stuntwoman

Mel Gibson reportedly has a new girlfriend. The 56-year-old actor was seen cozying up to stuntwoman Ashley Cusate during an intimate dinner date at sushi restaurant Nobu in Malibu on Sunday.
Ashley has performed dangerous stunts as a body double for the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Penelope Cruz and Anne Hathaway and has also dabbled in acting.
The brunette beauty has been dating the Lethal Weapon star for over a month and has already been introduced to his family, according to gossip website TMZ. "They love her and are convinced she's gonna be around for a long, long time," the source added.

Mel Gibson: Hollywood Won’t Forgive Me

The 56-year-old actor was caught in an expletive and racist tirade against his child's mother, Oksana Grigorieva, in audio tapes released to the public. He was again caught on tape laying into Maccabees screenwriter Joe Eszterhas calling him a "f**king ****" among other things, and last month his step-mother filed for a restraining order against the actor citing he spat in her face.
"They have to forget. I don't even think they're vindictive. I don't think they think there's reason to forgive. And forgive what to begin with? What are they asking for? It's almost like can you please forgive me for what? What did I do, really? It is kind of ridiculous," he said.

Tape Reveals Mel Gibson Rant at Joe Eszterhas

Mel Gibson terrified scriptwriter Joe Eszterhas with a foul-mouthed rant at his home in December.
Joe has released an audio file taken while at the troubled actor's home in December where he is heard shouting about his ex-wife Oksana Grigorieva and questioning why he had not yet received a first draft of the script for now-stalled project The Maccabees.
In a recording released to TheWrap.com, where Mel is heard grunting and growling, he shouts, "Why don't I have a first draft of The Maccabees? What the f**k have you been doing? I'll type it! I go to work, you're getting paid, I'm not! S**t! I am earning money for a filthy little c**ksucker who takes advantage of me! Just like every motherf****r! So hurry the f**k up!"
After a period of quiet - where he knocks down a totem pole and throws items - he asks his guests if they would like to eat. "Who wants to eat?! Who the f**k wants to eat?! Go have something to eat! Hurrrrraaaaayyyyyy! F**king **** c**ksucker whore" he shouts.

Mel Gibson Accused of Hating Jews

Mel Gibson has been accused of "hating Jews" by the writer of Basic Instinct. Joe Eszter has launched a scathing attack on Mel claiming he sabotaged a movie they had planned together, The Maccabees - which tells the story of Judah Maccabee, a Jew who led a revolt against the Seleucid Empire - because he is anti-Semitic.
"I've come to the conclusion that you never had, or have, any intention of making a film about the Maccabees. I believe you announced the project with great fanfare - 'a Jewish Braveheart' - in an attempt to deflect continuing charges of anti-Semitism which have dogged you. I've come to the conclusion that the reason you won't make The Maccabees is the ugliest possible one. You hate Jews," he wrote in part of a nine page letter.
Joe further claims the actor-and-director was happy when Beatles legend John Lennon was shot and killed in 1980 because he had a messiah complex and also accuses him of denying the holocaust and repeatedly calling Jews "oven dodgers."

Mel Gibson Loses Half $850M Fortune in Divorce Settlement

Mel Gibson's ex-wife has been awarded half his $850 million fortune in their divorce settlement.
The actor is now officially a single man after his almost 30-year marriage to Robyn Moore - mother of seven of his children - was officially ended at a Los Angeles court yesterday. The huge payout is thought to be one of the biggest divorce settlements in Hollywood history. Because the couple didn't have a prenuptial agreement, Robyn, 55, was legally entitled to half of everything he earned during their marriage and she is also entitled to 50 per cent of Mel's future film earnings. Robyn - who has two Malibu homes worth an estimated $22.5 million - filed for a legal separation in April 2009 citing "irreconcilable differences" as a reason for ending their marriage.
Earlier this month, Mel won praise from Judge Stephanie Sautner, who is overseeing his battery case against former girlfriend Oksana Grigoreiva after he completed double the amount of anger management and domestic violence counselling he was required to undertake. The 55-year-old star has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery against his ex-girlfriend - who he has two-year-old daughter Lucia with - and is currently on informal probation. In March, Mel was sentenced to a year-long domestic violence counseling program over the incident, which occurred in January 2010, and he was also served with a protective order not to "threaten or harass anyone involved in the case."

Rumor has it that Mel Gibson is seriously considering breaking his silence and coming forward. The main topics of discussion? Oksana Grigorieva Turned Down Mel Gibson’s $15 Million

Oksana Grigorieva turned down a $15 million settlement offer from ex-lover Mel Gibson because he wanted shared custody of their daughter.
The Russian singer - who is currently involved in a bitter custody battle with Mel for their 11-month-old daughter Lucia - refused the huge financial offer because she didn’t want the “unstable” actor getting so much access to their child.
“The $15 million was a proposal that I walked away from because he wanted 50 per cent custody of an infant when he’s unstable.”
Oksana also claims Mel punched her in the head while she was holding Lucia, during an argument on January 6. “Mel ran in and started screaming all kinds of nasty words. Then he just hit me twice with his fist. Boom, boom, to my head and my mouth. I fell on top of the bed. I’m just covering the baby and not protecting myself. He proceeds to choke me with both his hands,” she said in an interview with People magazine.

Oksana Grigorieva to Get More Money From Mel Gibson

Oksana Grigorieva is to receive an increase of $15,000 a month from ex-boyfriend Mel Gibson.
The Russian singer - who split from the actor amid claims he attacked her while the couple’s 11-month-old daughter Lucia was in her arms - will now receive a total of $20,000 per month in child support payments from the 54-year-old star.
According to gossip website TMZ, Judge Scott Gordon, who is presiding over the couple’s custody battle, issued an order yesterday afternoon to raise Mel’s maintenance payments. However, Oksana is likely to be disappointed with the ruling, after reportedly requesting $60,000 a month from her former partner.
