Portia de Rossi Taking Ellen’s Name

Actress Portia de Rossi is taking on her wife Ellen DeGeneres’ surname.
The 37-year-old actress - who married the talk show host almost two years ago - filed a petition in a Los Angeles court to formally become Portia DeGeneres. “Petitioner is taking the last name of her spouse,” court papers state.
Portia signed the documents in March this year and filed them in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, but the name change won’t be official until a hearing takes place on September 23. Although Portia is cementing the couple’s love for one another by changing her name, it doesn’t look as if children are on the cards for them
Ellen, 52, recently revealed she and Portia have no plans to start a family: “I don’t think we’re going to have kids. We have animals, and we love them. And, you know, we are brand new aunts. Her brother and his wife just had a baby girl who’s a month old now, and it’s fun to be a part of that. It’s just a huge responsibility, and I don’t know that that’s something we want to take on. We’re very happily married without children.”
Portia and Ellen married in front of 30 guests at their Beverly Hills home on August 16 2008.

Actor Orlando Bloom and model Miranda Kerr didn’t give friends much time to buy anything off their registries. Less than a month after announcing their engagement, it’s been revealed that the two are already married!
The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret beauty, who was scheduled to make an appearance at an Australian department store, explained her cancellation in a statement:
“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together. I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

Kristen Stewart Uninterested in Marriage

Don’t expect to see Kristen Stewart walk down the aisle in a white dress: she doesn’t care about getting married.
The 20-year-old actress - who is
dating her Eclipse co-star Robert Pattinson - insists she doesn’t dream about having a white wedding like most girls her age but does think about having a baby.
“Not at this point of my life. Maybe I’m completely different from everyone else. There are a lot of girls who can’t wait to get married and plan their wedding a long time in advance. I’m not like that. I do want to start a family at some point, but I don’t know when,” she said when quizzed about marriage.
But Kristen still refuses to be speak about her romance with Robert, only referring to him as a “good friend.”
“At the beginning of the films there wasn’t a relationship at all, because we [me and Robert] didn’t know each other at all, but now it’s all different. We’ve shot all these films together and he’s become a good friend of mine. Taylor [Lautner] and Rob are incredibly important to me. They don’t get on my nerves. We’re always honest with each other without having to worry whether we’re hurting each other’s feelings.”

And the hearts of Transformers geeks broke all over the world: Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are now married.
The couple tied the knot in secret last Thursday in Hawaii at a small ceremony with only half a dozen guests. The nuptials took place at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island and Brian’s eight-year-old son Kassius - who he has from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil - gave his dad away, according to TMZ.
The couple met in 2004 on the set of Hope and Faith and got engaged two years later. In February 2009, they decided to call off their wedding plans but got back together and earlier this month it was revealed they had got engaged again.
The 24-year-old actress previously hinted when she did wed it would be a discrete affair: “It’s not going to be a big wedding. I’m not one of those girls - if it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.”
Brian - who made his name in TV show Beverly Hills 90210 - also admitted the pair would prefer discrete nuptials, saying, “Originally we were talking elopement and now we might have a few people there.”

Sarah Jessica Parker has accidentally branded her husband Matthew Broderick as “average.”
The Sex and the City 2 actress - who has seven-year-old James Wilkie and 11-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha with spouse - made the gaffe while discussing how she is relieved that her son is one of the oldest in his class because he is so short.
She told talk show host David Letterman, “James is, for the moment, more on the diminutive side. Some might call it a Napoleon complex, his age gives him some confidence because he is so mature. He’s a brainiac… well I think so, naturally. He’s not quite tiny - that’s on my husband’s side - well, actually Matthew is average…”
The 45-year-old star - who stands 5ft 3in compared with the actor’s 5ft 8in - tried to backtrack on her comments, insisting her husband is only “average in height,” and not any of his other attributes.
“Not average in personality or in intellect…. no, no, no, no, no. Let me clear this up. For the record, not in personality, intellect, charisma, talent, genuine likeability, well the list could go on and on. Anyway he’s average in height as I understand so the odds of our son being average in height and weight is perhaps promising… How am I ever gonna fix this?”

Demi Moore‘s marriage makes her feel sexy.
The actress - who wed husband Ashton Kutcher in 2005 - says she feels great about herself because her actor spouse loves her so much. She told Look magazine, “I feel sexy because I feel loved. That’s what sexy is - it’s feeling good from the inside. When you feel sexy or sensuous, you naturally want to open up and give, and I think that comes from being able to receive love and desire.”
Demi - who, at 47, is 15 years older than Ashton - also believes because she’s so happy in her personal life it helps her to look good:
“Laughter and smiling are the best antidotes to ageing you could possibly have. I pretty much think of myself as still being five. I think that’s why my Twitter picture is of me at five. I’m still trying to figure it all out myself. I think there’s quite a few women in the public eye who are really defining the way women in their 40s and 50s are perceived. The more we see ourselves as interesting and sexy, the more other people will receive us in that way too.”

Bachelor Jason Mesnick Weds Molly Malaney

Let’s hope the forecast for their marriage will be less stormy than their wedding was.
Although he was still engaged to Melissa Rycroft just over a year ago, Jason Mesnick finally completed his trip down the aisle Saturday with Molly Malaney on his arm. The event, which was filmed by ABC camera crews, came approximately four months after the divorced father and Bachelor runner-up became engaged.
The nuptials took place in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA at the Terranea Resort right next to the Pacific Ocean. The ceremony, which began with Molly walking toward Jason to the tune “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” (as sung by American Idol‘s Jason Castro), ended with a rain-soaked kiss in the middle of a downpour.
Those in attendance at the ceremony included Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, Lost‘s Evangeline Lilly (huh?) and DeAnna Pappas.
The wedding, along with the behind-the-scenes preps, will be aired in an ABC special on Monday, March 8.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel Renew Their Love

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel have renewed their wedding vows.
The surprise ceremony, which was held on Friday night, came on the eve of their first wedding anniversary.
“Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional,” an eyewitness detailed. “They were both dressed nicely and walked right out to the bluff outside the hotel where weddings often take place. A minister was waiting for them. “
After the ceremony, the pair headed to a restaurant in the lavish Bacara Resort near Santa Barbara. “They had the whole restaurant to themselves and left before the first customers came in,” the source added to RadarOnline.
Last year, Josh was accused of cheating on the “Boom Boom Pow” hitmaker with stripper Nicole Forrester, claims he denied.

Guests at the Playboy mansion witnessed a rare event this weekend. Despite all the parties that have been held at the Los Angeles estate, there has only been one wedding ceremony on those grounds. Until now.
On Saturday, 24-year-old Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett officially became man and wife. The nuptials, which took place in front of 500 guests, came seven months after the reality star and Philadelphia Eagle became engaged.
