Evan Rachel Wood Shocked by Manson Backlash

Evan Rachel Wood was stunned by how "mean" people were about her relationship with Marilyn Manson.
The Charlie Countryman actress was just 19 years old when she began her four-year romance with the goth rocker, who is 17 years older than her, and she thinks people should have been more accepting of her decisions, especially as she was just a teenager making her own mistakes.
"People were pretty mean. At the time I hadn't yet been exposed to that kind of cruelty from strangers. If people were wondering why I was acting so-called crazy or like a teenager, it's because I was. People go through phases. People make mistakes. People go through life and don't get it right every time," Evan - who has a four-month-old son with husband Jamie Bell - told the Daily Beast.
The 26-year-old actress - who began her acting career when she was nine years old - feels sorry for 18-year-old Justin Bieber for the criticism he faces for his behavior off stage: "I can't imagine what it's like to be [Bieber]. When you're a teenager in an adult career, people expect you to be perfect and expect you to never make mistakes or to be a reckless teenager. And then when you are, they give you such a really hard time for it. You have to remind them that you're still a kid. Like, do people remember when they were that age? On this global level, people freak out. They like to be high and mighty and say, 'Oh, look at that person. I've never done anything like that.' But yes you have. Everyone's been a crazy kid."

Marilyn Manson has sparked rumors he is dating Lana Del Rey.
The "Beautiful People" rocker and the "Born To Die" singer have been spotted sneaking into an elevator at the five-star Grand Hyatt hotel in Berlin, Germany, where the 43-year-old musician has been staying. On Wednesday night, the pair were seen enjoying a meal at the Grill Royale restaurant in the city ahead of Thursday night's Echo Awards, and they were spotted leaving the eatery in a mini van shortly after midnight, according to German publication B.Z. The rumored couple spent time with veteran singer Barry Manilow at the music event, where Lana took to the stage to sing her breakthrough hit "Video Games."
Marilyn - who was previously married to Dita Von Teese and has been single since splitting from actress Evan Rachel Wood in 2010 - and Lana both attended the Musik Hilft charity event on Wednesday night along with more than 200 guests, including Katy Perry, who were treated to a steak meal washed down with champagne.

Marilyn Manson has rekindled his romance with Evan Rachel Wood.
The goth rocker says that after being stricken by an identity crisis, he’s accepted that he needs to work on what he does best. Manson also believes his new outlook is working well as Wood - whom he first split from in October 2008 before briefly reuniting in February - has agreed to give their relationship another try.
“I think I’m not afraid to be me. Sometimes it happens when you get to this point in your career, and there are so many things that have happened and influences that you’ve had, besides the influences of the things that have inspired you,” the 40-year-old said. “Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best is what I need to be. I think that has really paid off because I’m back with Evan.”
