Lil Wayne is taking medication after two seizure-like incidents last month.
The "Lollipop" rapper was taken ill on a flight in October which saw his private jet forced to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was then rushed to hospital and he has reportedly been prescribed drugs to prevent another episode.
According to gossip website TMZ, during a recent interview with MTV, the rapper revealed the new medication was responsible for his profuse sweating. "Please let them know that I have an air unit, but because of the sound, they don't want the air on, so it's super hot in here ... I don't want y'all to think I'm on nothing, man. I'm on seizure medicine. That's all," he said.

Lil Wayne Banned from Flying

Lil Wayne has been banned from flying by his doctor. The "Lollipop" rapper is under strict instructions not to board any jets for the time being after two seizure-like incidents last week on back-to-back flights, which led to him being hospitalized, but he is now resting at his mother's home.
Sources close to Wayne told TMZ the 30-year-old rapper - whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. - has been ordered to rest until at least next week, so he's not allowed to work on his forthcoming 10th album I Am Not a Human Being II nor board any aircraft.
Wayne has been checked by nurses on a regular basis since being released from hospital and he is due to return to his Miami home shortly via a luxury bus.
The rapper - who has described his medical scare as a "life-changing event" and an "eye-opener" - suffered "seizure-like symptoms" on a flight last Thursday, which saw his private jet forced to make an emergency landing in Texas.

Lil Wayne Released from Hospital After Medical Scare

Lil Wayne has been released from hospital and is resting at home after an in-flight medical scare yesterday.
The "Lollipop" hitmaker's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after he was said to have suffered "seizure-like symptoms," and it has now emerged the 30-year-old rapper has been treated for a severe migraine and dehydration and he's thanked all his fans for their "support and love."
"He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love," his representative told TMZ.
Wayne - whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. - was rushed to hospital the moment his jet touched down in Texas yesterday after the pilot radioed in to say the rapper was suffering a seizure. The "No Worries" hitmaker is currently preparing for the release of his 10th album, I Am Not a Human Being II, which is due to drop in December.

The American Idol judge - who is signed to the rapper's Young Money label - bought him a Campagna T-Rex 14R, a toy two-seater motorcycle-car hybrid, that usually costs $50,000 and added some pricey extras, according to TMZ. She then had the gift delivered to Lil Wayne's birthday bash in Hollywood on Thursday, where he was celebrating turning 30.
Wayne and Nicki are close friends, and earlier this year he pulled her out of the Summer Jam Concert when radio DJ Peter Rosenberg slighted her track "Starships."

Lil Wayne has called on Drake to end his feud with Chris Brown.
Wayne - the founder and co-head of Young Money Entertainment, the label Drake is signed to - has called on the musician and the "Yeah 3x" singer to stop arguing because it is bad for business.
Drake and Chris have been at war due to their individual romantic relationships with Rihanna and their argument spilled into violence last week when a huge brawl erupted in a New York nightclub between them and their entourages, which left Chris with a cut to his lip, and various bystanders injured.

Lil Wayne: VH1 may need to update the rapper’s Behind the Music special. Earlier this month, the Grammy award winner became a father once again. The baby boy, born September 9, is his first child with actress Lauren London (I Love You, Beth Cooper). Wayne (a.k.a. Dwayne Carter) also has two other children - a 9-year-old girl and a 10-month-old son - from previous relationships. (There’s also a possibility that he may be expecting a fourth with an entirely different woman.)
