Naomi Campbell Thinks Cadbury is Racist

Move over, Disney. There’s a new mega-corporation getting sued in town. Cadbury, the second-largest confectionary in the world, made the mistake of using Naomi Campbell, indirectly, in an ad campaign. And she’s just not having it.

A new ad featuring their Dairy Milk Bliss Bar has the words “Move over Naomi, there’s a new diva in town” as a tagline. Cute, right? Wrong. According to Campbell, it’s racist.

“I am shocked,” the model overreacted. “It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people as a race. I do not find any humor in this. It’s insulting and hurtful.” She has also stated that she may be pursuing legal action against the company. Possibly she’s being a wee bit dramatic?
