Jessica Simpson's parents are officially divorced.

Tina Simpson - who also has daughter Ashlee Simpson with her former husband Joe - filed for divorce in September 2012 after 35 years of marriage and the union has now been dissolved, according to TMZ. While details of the settlement have not been made public, it was recently claimed Tina, 53, was so sick of fighting with Joe that she was willing to willing to give into his demands for an equal split of everything under the family name, including the multi-million dollar clothing line she manages for Jessica.

"An offer of a 50 percent split of everything under the Simpson name has been offered to Joe. That includes the coveted Jessica Simpson Collection, which Joe desperately wanted because that's the real cash cow. Even though he has nothing to do with the fashion label, Tina just wants an end to the saga and if that means giving Joe what he wants, so be it," a source said.

Jessica Simpson's parents are reportedly fighting over financial rewards from their divorce.

The singer-and-actress's mother Tina and father Joe separated last September after 35 years of marriage, and the showbiz patriarch is said to be keen to move their case from Texas to Los Angeles as he believes the no-fault state will look upon his indiscretions - such as being found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) - more favorably and give him a better financial outcome.

Although Tina has already offered Joe $100 million of her $300 million fortune, her estranged husband - who manages both Jessica and his other daughter Ashlee Simpson - still wants more, including a bigger share of the profits gained from Jessica's clothing line The Jessica Simpson Collection.

Joe Simpson Gets Probation Over DUI

Joe Simpson has been found guilty of driving under the influence back in August and has been sentenced.

Despite his efforts to plead no contest, Jessica's and Ashlee's father will serve three years of probation and attend an alcohol-education class.

Simpson was stopped in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles in August when officers believed him to be intoxicated and made an arrest, later causing the 54 year old to spend the night in a jail cell.

The father of two is currently in the middle of divorcing his wife Tina of 35 years, amid rumors that he's gay; Simpson has subsequently denied the rumors.

Jessica Simpson's father has hit back at rumors he is gay.

Joe Simpson - who recently announced he and his wife Tina have "amicably split" after 35 years together amid allegations she found pictures of him with 21-year-old aspiring male model Bryce Chandler Hill - is said to be extremely frustrated by the speculation and told friends it is completely false.

Sources close to former pastor have branded the accusations "ridiculous" and told gossip website TMZ.com Joe's sexuality had nothing to do with the break up of his marriage. But other insiders have claimed the 54-year-old father-of-two is simply not ready to come out publicly.

Tina filed for divorce papers in Texas on September 24, stating, "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." The couple put their $4.4 million mansion on the market last month amid speculation they were living apart.

Male Model Allegedly Had Affair with Joe Simpson

Joe Simpson, father of Jessica and Ashlee, had an affair with a male model who is 33 years his junior. The affair revelation comes after the news broke that Joe's wife Tina was divorcing him, amid rumors that he is gay.

Twenty-one year-old model Bryce Chandler Hill, according to a source close to the Simpsons, was introduced to Joe through mutual friends of his daughters. "Joe Simpson being outed by the National Enquirer was no surprise to the gay community in Hollywood, Bryce has been bragging about hooking up with Joe for a while now," the source said. "Bryce is close to TJ Espinoza, who in turn is good friends with both Jessica and Ashlee and worked for Britney Spears as a back-up dancer. TJ introduced Bryce to the Simpsons – and that’s how he met Joe."

Hill, however, denies the affair. "Yes, I've read the story....it's simply NOT TRUE," he wrote on his Twitter.

Simpson has not yet commented on the alleged affair.

Joe Simpson has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence (DUI).

The showbiz patriarch - father of Ashlee and Jessica Simpson - claimed in a Los Angeles court room today he was not driving after drinking alcohol last month, despite blowing .12 on the breathalyzer, .04 higher than the legal limit. According to TMZ.com, Joe is due back in court in October.

Joe - who is also a manager to both of his daughters - was stopped by officers on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, at around 10pm on August 4 and the police thought he was intoxicated so arrested him. He was booked and spent the rest of the night in a cell. He was released at 9:41am the following day and did not have to post bail. He was later charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.

If convicted on both counts, he could face a year in jail, but because it was his first offense he is more likely to face a $1,000 fine and 36 months probation.

If convicted of both counts, Joe - who blew .12 on a breathalyzer test, .04 higher than the legal limit - could also face up to 36 months probation and a $1,000 fine.

Joe's case is scheduled to go before a judge later this month.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, the case has not yet been sent to prosecutors in the Los Angeles City Attorney's office yet. However, if criminal charges are filed, Joe is unlikely to receive any jail time as it is his first offense so he would probably just receive a fine.

Pete Wentz Admits to Kissing Boys

I wonder how open he plans on being after his baby is born.

In an interview with Out magazine, musician Pete Wentz has admitted to a bit of experimentation in his early years. The Fall Out Boy star says he was about 16-years-old when he first kissed man. A few other same-sex smooches followed until he was around 22. (He’s now 29.)

And while this might not be the best news Joe Simpson has heard, Ashlee’s new husband claims it was really all just a phase. “When I said that I make out with dudes, there was a slight sense of sexual rebellion in that. And I probably even made it a bigger deal than it was.”

Now if Tony Romo were to admit the same thing, then we’d have a big deal.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson Officially Wed

With help from papa Joe, Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz officially wrapped up their shotgun nuptials this weekend in Los Angeles.

The two musicians, who have been dating since late 2006, announced their engagement just over a month ago. Since that time, numerous sites have reported that the new couple is expecting. Even though no official pregnancy rumors have been confirmed, the wedding’s timing does seem quite suspect.

While I’m sure this is not how Joe Simpson planned on becoming grandfather, he apparently approved the pairing; the patriarch was the officiant for the non-denominational ceremony.

And while Ashlee’s wedding day should have been the focus this Saturday, her sister may have possibly stolen the media spotlight. Although its believed Jessica Simpson is now once again single, Tony Romo was nice enough to escort her to the event. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see when their honeymoon period ends.
