Jennie Garth has split from her boyfriend of three months.
The 41-year-old actress - most famous for her role as Kelly Taylor in nineties teen drama Beverly Hills 90210 - reportedly called it quits with media executive Michael Shimbo following a trip to Texas to watch the Formula One US Grand Prix over the weekend. Michael - CEO of a media company based in San Francisco - reportedly flew home early after a spat with the star.
It's alleged distance was a factor in their break-up, with a source telling Us Weekly magazine, "Michael doesn't live in Los Angeles, so it was difficult to maintain a long-distance relationship."
The couple made their romance public in August when they attended a Comedy Central Roast of actor James Franco. They were later spotted on a romantic getaway at the Greenbrier resort in West Virgina, celebrating Michael's birthday in September.

Jennie Garth is dating entrepreneur Michael Shimbo.
The 90210 actress - who split from Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli in March 2012 after 11 years of marriage with whom she shares daughters Luca, 15, Lola, 10, and Fiona, six - met the CEO of the San Francisco-based company called Planes, Trains and Automobiles through mutual friends and they have been quietly seeing each other for a few months.
"They met through a friend. They've been seeing each other for a couple months now. They are great together. Super sweet," a source said.
The couple have posted numerous pictures of each other on social media and recently attended the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco together in Culver City, California, on August 25. Jennie gushed about the award-winning media executive, who previously worked for Apple, in a caption beneath a picture of her new boyfriend on Instagram on Thursday, writing, "I mean...@shimbo #luckylady."

Jennie Garth Dating Big Gigantic Musician

Jennie Garth turns her back on 2012 by moving on from her split from husband Peter Facinelli and welcoming 2013 with a new guy - Jeremy Salken, of the band Big Gigantic.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress has been dating the 31 year-old drummer since October and spent New Year's Eve with him. She confirmed their relationship via Instagram with a photo of the pair attached to a caption that read, "@biggiantic blows it out the house!!!!!!!!! #lovechicago #happynewyearyall (sic)"
Meanwhile, Facinelli has been dating his Loosies and Nurse Jackie co-star Jaimie Alexander.
Garth recently told People that she's happy that Facinelli "is happy," but hopes "there will come a time when [the split] won't sting so bad."

Jennie Garth has tried to reconnect with Amanda Bynes.
The 40-year-old actress - who recently realized she is not ready to date following her split from husband of 11 years Breaking Dawn: Part 2 actor Peter Facinelli - claims she is desperately concerned about her former What I Like About You co-star who is like a "little sister" to her, but has so far failed to reach her.
"I haven't talked to her. I've tried. She's like a little sister to me, so I would love to wrap my arms around her right now. But I haven't been able to reach her," the mother-of-three told The Jeff Probst Show.
Amanda, 26, has suffered a string of setbacks recently including being charged with driving on a suspended license and having her car impounded.
Jennie admitted that like Amanda she too thought her career was over after the end of their comedy series until she realized she loves being an actress: "I forgot that I actually like what I do. I thought that I was done as an actress [after the sitcom]. I really thought that I was retiring and I didn't want to do it anymore. And now I'm doing it again, and I really enjoy it."

The Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country star - who recently lost an estimated 30 pounds following her divorce from husband of 11 years and the father of her three daughters Peter Facinelli - has realized she is not ready to date after being linked to three different men recently.
The 40-year-old actress told The Jeff Probst Show yesterday, "I only like guys that are not nice. What is wrong with us girls? It's not like I want somebody to treat me badly. I want somebody who looks like they could treat me badly, but then really treats me good."
Jennie was briefly linked with The Antonio Treatment star Antonio Ballatore, photographer Noah Abrams and most recently with property expert Jason Clarke after the duo was spotted enjoying a concert at the W Hollywood last month. "I would rather lick the bottom of my shoe than go on a date. The minute I think I'm ready to start dating, then I realize, 'Oh no you're not.' I just don't know how to date," she insisted.

Jennie Garth Was ‘Depressed’ in Her Marriage

Jennie Garth was depressed for years before her marriage ended.
Although it was announced in March that the 90210 actress and her Twilight Saga star husband Peter Facinelli were splitting after 11 years of marriage, Jennie has admitted the relationship was in trouble for some time.
"I spent a couple of years lying in bed and being depressed. It was that 'I can't breathe' pain. Physically I didn't look my best and mentally I didn't feel my best. I was doing everything I could to be a good mom but that was all I could handle."
However, after spending several months at her Santa Ynez ranch in California following the split, Jennie - who has daughters Luca, 15, Lola, nine, and Fiona, six, with Peter - realized she had to start living her life again. "I just looked at it like there's no way I can hide out in the county and never work again, never love again and never laugh again. The past year has been a bit of a rebirth for me as a person by shedding that negative space and all the pain associated with that time," she told People.

Jennie Garth Devastated Over Ex’s New Girl

The Beverly Hills 90210 actress has previously revealed she was upset when the 38-year-old actor told her he wanted to end their marriage in March and she has found it very tough learning about his new relationship with 28-year-old actress Jamie Alexander.
"She's been a mess. She's so upset that Peter left her and moved on so easily. Jennie is doing whatever she can to make it seem like she's OK. She's acting like she's been having fun and trying new things, but the truth is her world has been rocked," a friend of Jennie, 40, told Life and Style.

The Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country star was spotted on a dinner date with The Antonio Treatment host in Las Vegas earlier this month and the pair were "flirty and very touchy," according to USmagazine.com.
The couple have been in touch on Twitter lately with Jennie writing, "Saw a show today called The Antonio Treatment. I think I need that," to which Antonio flirtily replied, "On my way! ;) xo (sic)."

Jennie Garth's divorce made her realize how much she loved Peter Facinelli.
The 40-year-old 90210 actress and her Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 actor estranged husband announced their plans to divorce in March. Speaking to a therapist on her reality show Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country she said, "It's weird and sad, but I really realized through this whole experience how much I loved him, how deeply I loved him and how deeply I loved us."
The two have children together - Luca,14, Fiona, nine, and Lola, five - and Jennie was against Peter's idea to file for a legal separation. "I think with any sort of rejection, you're angry that you weren't enough for that person. So I don't know if I'm angry at myself for not being enough, or if I'm angry at him for not considering me to be enough," she continued.
Talking about his decision to end their longtime union, she said she hoped they'd be together forever and added that his filing surprised her. When asked if she'd like to share her strong feelings with her ex, she said expressed her desire to.

Jennie Garth admits she was shocked when her divorce from Peter Facinelli became a reality.
After months of fighting to save their 11-year marriage, Peter 38, filed for divorce in March, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split. But despite knowing it was coming, Jennie, 39, says the end still took her by surprise.
"[It] was something we were working through together. As anybody who's been through it, it's always kind of shocking when it ends up finally happening. It was sad for our family unit," she said.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 star is currently promoting her new reality show Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country - which centers around life on her farm with daughters Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five - and has found it impossible to avoid questions about the divorce.
