Celine Dion Not Pregnant After All

It turns out reports of a Celine Dion pregnancy were a bit premature.
Although it was previously believed the 41-year-old singer was carrying her second child, it was revealed that an embryo transfer back in August was not successful. “Dr. Zev Rosenwaks believed that the procedure/pregnancy took, but that wasn’t the case. We found out some days later. We were shocked,” Dion’s husband, René Angélil, told a Canadian newspaper.
A second in vitro fertlization treatment in October also failed to take. “We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous,” the 67-year-old added.
But despite the frustrating results, Dion - who has “undergone numerous examinations, multiple hormone injections and blood tests” - is determined to keep trying. “Céline and I didn’t get discouraged ... we put our faith in life and in the stars,” René stated.
