Charlie Sheen Donates $50,000 to Charity

Charlie Sheen has donated $50,000 to charity.
The Anger Management star, who is reportedly worth $125 million, gave the money to My Friend's Place, which works with young homeless people in Hollywood. The organization's executive director, Heather Carmichael, sent the 48-year-old actor a thank-you note, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, that reads, "On behalf of the homeless youth My Friend's Place (MFP) serves, thank you for your generous gift of $50,000. Your support helps us provide life-changing services that nourish the body, inspire the mind and equip for a brighter future. Together we are able to care deeply for each of the 1,700 who walk through our doors by supporting their journey of homeless and into stability and well-being."
Charlie has donated a lot of money to various organizations this year. Last month, he gave $25,000 to the Philippines aid charity, PREDA Foundation.

Russell Brand Treats Homeless to Breakfast

Russell Brand took a group of homeless people for breakfast yesterday.
The British comedy actor took a small group of people to the Newsroom Cafe in West Hollywood for a nourishing early morning meal. Russell himself was very casually dressed for the occasion in an oversize woolly hat, red trainers and a baggy pair of pajama bottoms.
It is the second time this month Russell has been spotted helping the homeless, as he helped a street dweller by giving him water and having a chat with him after he left a yoga class. He also gave the man - who was topless at the time - a white t-shirt to protect from the heat of the Californian summer. Russell offered him a car ride to destination, which was accepted, and the Rock of Ages star was reportedly overheard saying they were going to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Beforehand, the rescued man was apparently seen rolling around in the dirty parking space and appeared to be under the influence of some kind of narcotics. Russell himself is a recovering sex addict, heroin user and alcoholic.

Russell Brand has given $630 to a homeless man.
The 36-year-old Arthur star reportedly saw the man was down on his luck and decided to help him out.
"Russ decided to do something charitable. He met a homeless guy on Hollywood Boulevard, just around the corner from the home he shared with Katy Perry. Russ was with his new girlfriend and they struck up a conversation with the guy. After chatting for a few minutes he decided he wanted to get him a roof over his head for a few nights. So he went over the road and withdrew $630 for him. When Russell handed over the wad of cash, the fella had tears in his eyes. Russ told him to spend it wisely and to make sure he says 'Hello' if they ever cross paths again," a source told The Daily Star.
Meanwhile, the comedian has introduced mum Barbara to new girlfriend, model Nikolett Barabas. The trio were spotted helping Russell house hunt in Los Angeles over the weekend following his arrest for allegedly throwing a paparazzo's iPhone through a window last week.
