Lindsay Lohan Wants More Opportunity

“I want to do all the things that will make me feel fulfilled. But whenever I do those things, people think it’s a press stunt or something.” This was only one of many things Lindsay Lohan said to Lauren Hutton in her new piece with Interview Magazine. The cover shows Linds making a weird face, and the interview itself is supposed to offer a more intimate look at Lohan.
However, she spends most of her time complaining about the paps. “You know, my car accident that I got into, where I got my first charge, I wouldn’t have been speeding up like I was if I didn’t have people shoving cameras in my windows,” she explained.
So…why not just drop out of the biz entirely? In later comments, Lindsay offered a little insight into her own goals. “I wanted to be a movie star,” she admitted. “But, movie stars are not what they used to be.” Sister, you’re preachin’ to the choir on that one.
“I work just as hard as any other actress around my age,” Lindsay said, “but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life.”

Lindsay Lohan Denies Break Up Rumors

By now, the news that Sam Ronson and Lindsay Lohan broke up after New Year’s has swept every gossip mag and celebrity Web site…but the center of the attention says it’s all just false gossip.
“…we did NOT break up!” Linds wrote on her MySpace blog. “Get your stories straight please.”
The couple has been surrounded by stories of loud, public arguments, and this isn’t the first time break up rumors have singled out the pair. As of today, at least, Linds and Sam are still an item.

Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, first grandbaby for Governor (and former VIP candidate) Sarah Palin, entered the world on December 28, 2008. Now, let’s find out just how much clout this youngster has with the tabloids, shall we?
Palin, who emerged from nowhere at the GOP convention and rose to instant stardom, has managed to stay on the radar even though we’re several weeks away from November. Everyone seems interested in the Alaska Governor’s next TV project (we’re all quite sure there will be one), but for now the politician is working on a different role: Grandma.
A role which, if you’re Sarah Palin, may not be without its huge monetary perks. Technically, the money will likely go to daughter Bristol and her boyfriend Levi Johnston - but we all know who’s name is going to sell the cover shots.
The bidding war for the first photos of little Tripp has begun, and some sources are claiming the price started as high as $100,000. That’s more than some real celebrities get - and the number’s only getting higher from there. No price for the pics has been confirmed, but some sources estimate the photos are selling for more than $300,000 - truly, a staggering sum for a child that’s probably still wrinkled and hairless.

Paris Parades BFF for Paps

For the holiday season, Paris Hilton is doing some relaxing shopping in Aspen - with MTV reality-chosen BFF Brittany Flickinger in tow.
According to reports, Paris and her BFF were joined on holiday by sis Nicky Hilton and her boyfriend David Katzenberg. Hilton parents Rick and Kathy were on hand as well. Rumor has it that the entire group enjoyed the Caribou Club two nights in a row - though the elder Hiltons left the dance floor to their daughters well before the heiresses were ready to quit.
Paris has recently been spotted hanging with BFF Brittany on other occasions as well. The duo have been photographed shopping and dining together in the past month, which would seem to prove that Paris didn’t ditch her newfound friend once the cameras stopped rolling on her reality show.
But, that’s probably the point of all these photo ops.

Tom Cruise: Self-Proclaimed Great Parent

Tom Cruise is “fortunate to have the teenagers and two and a half-year-old” daughter he has fathered, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t like to add more to the crew in the future. In an interview with The Sun, he talks about raising a toddler and teenagers at the same time.
“She’s so beautiful, she’s just great,” Cruise says of little Suri Cruise, a favorite among the paps (she appears in more mags than her famous father). Perhaps it’s because the small tot is “so charming,” as her proud papa says.
In the interview, Tom Cruise calls himself a “great parent,” saying “my family is the most important thing in my life.”

Sarah Palin: No Alaska for Hot New Media Star

Sarah Palin came onto the election scene much later than John McCain, President-elect Barack Obama or Vice President-elect Joe Biden - but she instantly became the media’s favorite contender. New gossip suggests that Palin may not pack her bags to head back home right away…she just might have some gigs lined up in Tinseltown first.
A spokesman for Random House (one of the biggest publishing houses in the biz) told the New York Post’s Page Six that “there are several of our imprints who are eager to talk to Governor Palin. She clearly has a constituency and we know books by conservatively-centered politicos usually sell very, very well.” So she might as well take more jobs away from the real writers of the world.
Other gossip hints that Palin could be offered a slot as a TV pundit (I’ve got money riding on this one - I just know FOX News Channel would do damn near anything to have her) or even as a talk-show host.
Sure, that makes sense.

With her love life nice and stable (apparently in spite of what the media says), with her new twins now a well-established three months of age and a hot new movie ready to debut, what could Jolie possibly add to the mix? …How about another kid? Sure, she’s only got six (and counting).

Vice President Palin: Is the World Ready?

Pundits and political professionals have spent the last several months repeatedly asking the same question: is America ready to be led by someone who is outside the accepted status quo? In other words, could we have a non-white President? It’s been one of the hottest topics of the year, and it gave Barack Obama a lot of attention with the press. That is, until McCain pulled his trump card.
Otherwise known as Sarah Palin. Attractive, conservative, Yankee-ish and much, much younger than McCain, Palin has helped to change the feel of the entire campaign. Could she change the entire election? The media has been asking, for several months, if America is really ready to be led by a black man. Now, there’s another big question on the table. Is the world ready for the likes of Sarah Palin - that self-styled bulldog-in-lipstick-hockey-mom who can’t keep her Yahoo business private and somehow found herself on the nation’s biggest political stage?
Not that it matters much, but Matt Damon doesn’t seem to think so.

A Web site created on September 15, 2008 through Go Daddy calling itself Britney Spears Circus Leak has posted an audio Internet video that’s suddenly becoming the most talked-about file on the Web. Considering the subject matter, this is hardly surprising - but if you’re looking for the formula for online success, pay attention.
A single picture of Brit, a countdown showing the time remaining on the release of her album and a single audio embed is all it takes to make a site successful. If, of course, the site is offering up audio of what is purportedly a leaked track off of a truly unreleased album. The track, “Candy From Strangers” certainly sounds like it could be the work of Britney Spears.
