District Attorney Not Pursuing Assault Charges Against Kanye

While he may be fighting with his Kim Kardashian as to whether or not their daughter North will appear on reality TV, Kanye West at least won't have to worry about facing assault charges anymore.
The Los Angeles District Attorney has decided not to go forward with prosecuting the "New Slaves" rapper over an alleged assault that occurred earlier in the month. Criminal defense attorney Troy Slaten - who is not involved in Kanye's case - speculated that this outcome could happen due to the fact that the alleged victim failed to show up for a follow-up interview with authorities: "If they don't have a cooperative victim, the case is harder to prosecute. If you have no victim, it would most likely get dismissed."
The alleged incident happened in Beverly Hills on January 13th, where Kanye reportedly responded (with his fists!) to a young man who was spewing racial slurs at the paparazzi and Kim Kardashian when she arrived to meet her fiance.

Stephen Baldwin Arrested Over $350K Tax Bill
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Stephen Baldwin has been arrested over an alleged unpaid $350,000 tax bill.
The 46-year-old actor is accused of failing to pay income tax in Rockland County, 15 miles northwest of Manhattan, for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 and was bailed pending a February 2013 court appearance.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe told the New York Daily News, "At a time when Rockland County and New York State face severe fiscal shortfalls, we cannot afford to allow wealthy residents to break the law by cheating on their taxes. The defendant's repetitive failure to file returns and pay taxes over a period of several years contributes to the sweeping cutbacks and closures in local government and in our schools."
The arrest comes six months after a court rejected born-again Christian Stephen's claim that he and a friend missed out on a lucrative contract with oil company BP thanks to Kevin Costner and his business partner in oil cleanup, Patrick Smith.

Lindsay Lohan's alleged assault victim and her celebrity civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred have been spotted at the District Attorney's office in New York.
Fortune teller Tiffany Mitchell - who claims the Liz & Dick actress hit her in the face and spat on her in a New York nightclub last month - hired the well known legal expert last weekend, who has previously represented one of Tiger Woods' mistresses and also taken on alleged sexual harassment cases against Arnold Schwarzenegger, John Travolta and Rob Lowe.
The pair are said to have visited the D.A. to discuss their case and evidence against Lindsay, according to gossip website RadarOnline.com. "I can confirm that I am representing Tiffany Mitchell and I have no further comment at this time," Gloria previously said.
