Britney Spears with Adnan GhalibBritney Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib claims her mother told him to trash Sam Lutfi's reputation.

The Afghanistan-born paparazzo - who briefly dated The X Factor judge during her public meltdown in 2008 - told a jury that the popstar's mother Lynne Spears instructed him to lie to the media to make it sound like her ex-manager Sam was evil and manipulating Britney at the time.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, Adnan took the stand today to give evidence in Sam's defamation and breach of contract lawsuit against the 30-year-old "Till The World Ends" singer and her parents Lynne and Jamie Spears. Lawsuit Against John Travolta Thrown Out by Judge

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues, Rumors,

John TravoltaJohn Travolta has been cleared of accusations he ruined an author's reputation.

Robert Randolph wrote You'll Never Spa In This Town Again, in which he made claims the Pulp Fiction actor enjoyed gay sexual relations in Los Angeles' City Spa in the 1990s but then claimed John and his lawyer Marty Singer had falsely accused him of having serious mental problems to try and make him out to be an unreliable source.

However, a judge has thrown out his lawsuit against John and Mr. Singer, ruling a letter in which they made the accusations was a legitimate part of the legal dispute and so they cannot be prosecuted for it, according to TMZ.

Both John and Marty have previously issued statements branding the lawsuit "ridiculous." A representative for the Hairspray star said, "The lawsuit filed by Robert Randolph is absurd. The suit is based on a privileged communication, and it will promptly be thrown out by the court. To evaluate the credibility of Robert Randolph and his ridiculous lawsuit one need look no further than his own statements published on his website stating that he sustained 'permanent brain damage' and had to 'retrain' his brain."
