Chris Brown has been ordered to appear in court next month.
The singer was called in as part as a routine progress hearing on Tuesday as part of his felony battery conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend, Rihanna. While he didn't attend in person to report this time, Judge Patricia Schnegg, has expressed concerns about a discrepancy in hours that the Grammy Award-winning star had completed in his required community labor.
The judge asked the probation department to establish where Chris resides because he owns a home in Los Angeles, California and had been doing his community service in his native state of Virginia. She also wants an audit done on Chris' hours to ensure the accuracy leading to her order for him to appear at his next progress report on August 21, according to website RadarOnline.
Last month a fight broke out between Drake and Chris' entourages in a New York City club that resulted in Chris receiving stitches for a gash to his chin. There were multiple injuries from shards of glass from broken bottles, including Eva Longoria's ex-husband, Tony Parker.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly put herself under house arrest.
The actress is two weeks from the end of her probation period - which is connected to her 2007 arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) - and has made the decision to stay at home until it is over, so there is absolutely no chance she can get into any trouble, according to TMZ.com.
The news comes after the Mean Girls actress was accused of hitting the manager of a Hollywood nightclub with her black Porsche last Thursday, a claim she strongly denied.
After the incident friends are said to have begged the 25-year-old star to stay at home until March 29, when her probation is due to end. Until that time Lindsay - who has been in jail and rehab on several occasions since the start of her legal troubles five years ago - has now agreed only to leave home to complete community service at the Los Angeles County morgue.
Bruno Mars Cocaine Case Dismissed
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Drugs, Legal Issues,
Bruno Mars' cocaine possession charge was dismissed by a judge on Wednesday.
The "Grenade" singer - who was arrested in Las Vegas in September 2010 after being caught with the substance in the toilets of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino - will have the case officially wiped from his criminal record after pleading guilty back in January 2011.
At the time, the judge presiding over the case ruled the 26-year-old star should pay a fine of $2,000, complete 200 hours of community service and undertake drug education classes. However, Bruno - who previously admitted he "did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before" the incident - has now exceeded the amount of required community service after logging more than 230 hours working for children's and health-related charities, TMZ.com reports.
Blair Berk, the singer's lawyer, appeared in court on his behalf to see the charge officially dismissed. After initially hearing the charges would be dismissed, the "Just The Way You Are" hitmaker - born Peter Hernandez - explained he was "appreciative" that he wouldn't be convicted for possession. "Bruno is very appreciative he is being given this opportunity as a first offender not to suffer any conviction and instead to have his charge dismissed. He is taking all of this quite seriously," Mr. Berk said at the time.
