The DJ, who was in an on-off 16-month relationship with the troubled actress from the start of 2008, took to her account to support her former lover after the 77-year-old comedienne left a series of comments laughing at the star’s personal problems and upcoming jail sentence.

The couple, who got engaged in December, are big fans of the teen singing sensation, and have joked they even have a plan to grow their own version of him.

“Me and my fiancee love him. We want our own . We can’t have the actual one because he’s busy with his work. I understand he procreates by laying eggs in the sea and then we can fertilise these eggs and have our own Justin Biebers. We could grow Justin Bieber in a jar like sea monkeys,” the comedian said.

The Get Him to the Greek star is even jealous of 16-year-old Justin’s other celebrity fans. When told that had “Bieber fever,” Russell joked, “What? My little Justin? Keep away, Kim. I’ll neutralize you with my doctor mitts!”

Russell Brand, recovering internet addictAfter having beaten his polygamy tendencies, comedian Russell Brand is now recovering over his obsession with Googling himself.

The Get Him to The Greek actor, who admits he has an addictive personality and has previously beaten heroin addiction, said he eventually gave up typing his name into the internet, as he only saw negative things written about himself.

“It’s the most unrewarding, pointless activity, Googling yourself. I’m doing a lot better. It’s like picking a scab. I have gone a few weeks without looking at it and it divorces you from the slurry of casual vindictiveness.”

He also admitted he toned down his performance as host of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), after his appearance last year - during which he referred to then-US president George W. Bush as a “retarded cowboy fella” - caused such an uproar.

“Last year at the VMAs there were death threats, so obviously this year it was deliberately designed not to cause anyone any bother, but be funny and confident. There was a very deliberate removal of self-destruction. I didn’t take the risks I’ve taken in the past.”

Bernie MacUPDATE: You can read what many of Bernie’s friends had to say about his passing here.

Comedian , the Emmy-nominated actor from The Bernie Mac Show, passed away this morning after a battle with pneumonia. He was only 50-years-old.

This announcement is particular shocking given the news released just a few days ago. On Thursday, Mac’s rep said the performer - who had been hospitalized in Chicago since August 1 - was responding well to treatment and was expected to be discharged within weeks. That claim contradicted earlier reports that the Ocean’s Eleven star was in “very, very critical” condition.

Earlier today, publicist Danica Smith revealed the sad news:

“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”

Our thoughts go out to his family.
