David Arquette has become a father again.
The 42-year-old actor and his girlfriend Christina McLarty welcomed their baby son Charlie West into the world on Monday at 12:35 pm in Los Angeles. The tiny tot weighed a healthy 8lbs 7oz and is said to be doing "well" following his birth.
"Mum, dad and baby are doing well. They appreciate all of your well wishes and thank you for respecting their privacy at this time," David's representative told PEOPLE.com.
David, who also has nine-year-old daughter Coco with his ex-wife Courteney Cox, recently admitted that he was keen to give his son a "traditional" name. "'I think we will go with something a little more traditional. I've been a bit cryptic about it. It's going to be the name of my grandfather used to play," he said previously.

David Arquette doesn't know if he'll marry again.
The 42-year-old actor is "madly in love" with partner Christina McLarty - who is pregnant with his second child - but is hesitant to walk down the aisle because his divorce from Courteney Cox in 2012, almost two years after they separated, left him heartbroken.
"The divorce, that broke my heart a lot, you know, and changed my approach to it all too," he said. When asked on Piers Morgan Live if he will marry again, he added, "I don't know. It has definitely changed that, you know, that experience changed it for me, but you know, I'm madly in love with my new girlfriend and she is a wonderful person and dear friend and we have a kid on the way, so I don't know."
David, who married Courteney in June 2009, also claims his divorce from the Cougar Town actress - with who he has nine-year-old daughter Coco - made him more mature in his relationships: "I was really dramatic and really like over the top when I was younger. But not now, not now. I'm a little more grown up as far as relationships go. I don't - it doesn't seem like everything is the end of the world, you know. When I was younger, I'd get pretty dramatic."

David Arquette is set to become a dad for a second time.
The 42-year-old actor, who has a nine-year-old daughter with his ex-wife, Courteney Cox, and his on-again/off-again girlfriend, Christina McLarty, are reportedly expecting their first child. Sources told gossip website TMZ.com that the Entertainment Tonight host, who has been dating the Scream star for two years, is four months pregnant. David also gushed about the good news to the crew on the set of his new movie in Vancouver, Canada.
A spokesperson for the actor has yet to comment on the reports.
David, who admitted last week that he had fallen off the wagon after seeking treatment in rehab for alcohol addiction, previously hailed Christina to be the love of his life: "I'm madly in love with her and she's the love of my life. Absolutely."
