While some prints are still waiting for their comeback (e.g. paisley), stripes are something that never truly go away. Katie Holmes loves them so much - she’s not only a repeat wearer, her daughter even sports them.

Celebrity Fashion Trend: The Orange Dress

Since orange just currently happens to be my favorite color, it’s no coincidence that two of my favorite looks from this week are orange red-carpet dresses.

While it’s not an easy shade to wear, I think that Blake Lively (at the The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 premiere) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (at Japan’s Dark Knight premiere) both pulled the hue off beautifully.

Celebrity Summer Trend: The Short Haircut

Even though there are some stars out there who’ve been sporting short hair for quite some time now (e.g. Victoria Beckham, Rihanna, Katie Holmes), others are just now jumping on the bandwagon.

Recently, Eva Longoria Parker and Hayden Panettiere became the latest daring two to chop off their long locks for a fresher summer style.

What do you think of their new looks? Was it it a much-needed change…or should they reach for the extensions asap?
