David and Victoria Beckham Expecting Fourth Child

David Beckham is one step closer to acquiring his own family soccer team: he and wife Victoria Beckham are expecting their fourth child together.

The soccer star and the fashion designer - who already have three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz - will welcome a new addition to their family in the summer, their spokesperson has confirmed.

"David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival of their new brother or sister."

David, 35, and Victoria, 36, have never made it a secret they would like more children and were keen to have a daughter. "I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing," David said last year.

Victoria has previously said, "I would love to have a little girl. If I am blessed to have another baby at some point that would be great. I'm really girlie. I'd love to dress a little girl up."

International fashionista Victoria Beckham used to spend two hours getting ready to take her sons to school.

The singer-turned-fashion designer - who has children Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, seven and four-year-old Cruz with her soccer star husband David Beckham - insisted on sticking to an elaborate grooming routine in order to look her best when performing everyday tasks in Los Angeles.

A source said, “She was spending over two hours getting ready, just to take the kids to school!”

However, the 35-year-old star has now embraced a more relaxed dress sense during the day time to help her avoid the constant media scrutiny.

“You wouldn’t believe what a difference it’s made to her life. Cooling her love affair with high heels has been the latest big development. She still cares about her image, but it was becoming a real burden. At first, it was hard for her to accept that in Hollywood, A-list stars go out of their way to dress down to avoid attention. Only wannabes dress up to try and generate interest in themselves. In many ways, she was undermining her credibility with the locals. She just didn’t fit in.”

From now on, Victoria has vowed to take a more laid back approach to her appearance. The friend added, “Victoria doesn’t regret the way she looked, but by the same token she certainly doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes of what she calls the ‘Posh and Becks days.’”

Celebrity fashion designer Victoria Beckham is “delighted” that her son is undertaking charity work.

Brooklyn Beckham, the star’s eldest child with husband David Beckham, visited poverty-stricken state Kentucky with Save The Children after learning about the state at his exclusive school in Los Angeles.

The 10-year-old youngster played soccer with children at Manchester Elementary School and presented them with shoes and backpacks, before joining in with an after-school reading group. He and Victoria then went to read with children at nearby Big Creek Elementary school.

“I’m pleased Brooklyn is learning that by helping and joining other children he can play a role in making his generation the greatest yet. Seeing Save the Children’s innovative programs in action, I know that we can begin to reverse the childhood poverty crisis,” Victoria said.
