Chris Brown Diagnosed with PTSD, Bipolar Disorder

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay in a Miami rehab for another two months.
Doctors at the facility blame the musician's behavior on his previously undiagnosed PTSD and bipolar disorder, but they do claim that he is making improvements and becoming less impulsive.
Despite a report in which Brown said he "is happy with the program," he reportedly didn't look too happy to hear that his stay would be extended. A probation officer wrote to the court that Brown has indeed showed progressing and "[responding] well to treatment," but he additionally pointed out that the positive changes in his behavior "[have] occurred only recently."
Brown had been placed in rehab back in November after his was charged with a misdemeanor assault in Washington, D.C. - a direct violation of his probation for his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Judge Praises Amanda Bynes’ Mom
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Television, Meltdowns, Rumors,
Amanda Bynes' mother has been praised for helping her to turn her life around.
Lynn Bynes became The Easy A actress's temporary conservator, giving her control of the star's personal and financial affairs, last July just days after Amanda, who was discharged from treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in December, was sectioned for her erratic behavior when she set a fire in a neighbor's driveway in Thousand Oaks, California.
And the judge overseeing Lynn's conservator duties in Oxnard credited her for Amanda's amazing progress in court on Tuesday, according to TMZ.com, saying, "Good job, Mrs. Bynes. Well done."
A source recently revealed that Amanda's parents are thrilled that her life is more stable but don't think she is ready to move out of their home just yet, even though she is eager to get her own place.
Amanda Bynes Advised Against Fashion School

Amanda Bynes has been advised against attending fashion school.
The troubled actress was only discharged from treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder last week, but is said to have signed for classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in California, which psychiatrists have advised against.
"Amanda was told by her doctors that going to fashion school, so soon after being released... [is] an absolutely terrible idea for her to do at this time - it's almost setting her up for failure. There will be pressure on Amanda as far as school work, deadlines, and it's unlikely she will be able to succeed. The fashion school she is enrolled in is in Orange County, almost two hours from her parents' house, and she still doesn't have a valid driver's license," a source said.
Amanda is back living with her parents, Rick and Lynn - who has been granted conservatorship of her daughter - but the source thinks she should take returning to her studies more slowly.

The 27-year-old actress was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in July, but she has now completed her inpatient treatment and is recovering at her parents' home in Los Angeles. Amanda's mother's lawyer, Tamar Arminak, released a statement saying, "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."
The Easy A star spent two months at UCLA Medical Center in California, where she was allegedly diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, after she struck up a small fire in the driveway of a stranger's home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles. Amanda was then moved to the Canyon treatment facility in Malibu at the end of September, where she continued to make improvements, and she is now looking into joining a college.

Amanda Bynes could soon have her day in court.
The 27-year-old actress has been deemed fit to stand trial after her DUI arrest (Driving Under the Influence) in 2012, despite being diagnosed as a schizophrenic with bipolar disorder.
"Amanda's case was in Mental Health Court this AM, and the judge read the court-ordered medical evaluation of the actress, and determined she is now competent to face the DUI charges. Amanda's lawyer, Rich Hutton, did not object to the findings so the criminal case - which was put on hold - will not go forward," a source told TMZ.
A conservatorship is being sought for the former Nickelodeon star who was originally scheduled to appear in court on September 24, regarding her April 2012 arrest in West Hollywood, but she failed to turn up and the case was pushed back.

The 68-year-old actor - who has two children Dylan, 12, and 10-year-old Cary with Catherine - admits the mental health condition is unpredictable and can creep up on you at any time but insists the troublesome time has bought them closer together. Catherine Zeta-Jones Is Sick of Talking About Bipolar Disorder

Catherine Zeta-Jones is "sick" of people asking her about her bipolar disorder.
The 43-year-old actress - who has publicly spoken about her condition since being treated at a mental health clinic last April for depression following her husband Michael Douglas's cancer battle - insists she's not a victim of the disorder.
"You know what? I'm sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this. I never wanted this to come out publicly. It came out. I dealt with it in the best way I could and that was just saying that, 'Look, hey, I'm bipolar.' Everyone has things going on and we're doing the best we can. We can't jump from the rooftops shouting about, 'I have this, look at me, victim' - no. We all have issues in life and I'm really happy I have great friends, great support and that's all I can do," she told Good Morning America.

Catherine also opened up about how she tries to keep herself healthy by completely avoiding the Internet: "You can't escape what people say, and if you're human it can be painful. The smartest thing I did was to stop going online. I'm the sort of person who will just look for the negative. My husband] Michael [Douglas] can't really understand it, but that is the way I am. With my bipolar thing, that's poison. So I just stopped. Cold turkey. And it's so liberating."

Demi Lovato Regrets Her Tattoos

Demi Lovato regrets her 12 tattoos.
The 20-year-old star admits she has considered having her body art removed by laser, but has decided not to worry too much about them until she is much older. "I've thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have rock and roll on my middle finger. I'm young and I can rock it now and when I get older I can worry about it later," she said.
Speaking of one inking, a tattoo of her friend's lips on her wrist, she added, "It was just a spur of the moment, stupid decision."
In late 2010, the X Factor judge checked into rehab to be treated for an eating disorder and self-harm issues and she admits it was a "relief" to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder as it meant she wasn't "crazy. "I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that means I'm not really crazy, there's a reason.' And it was just so awesome to be able to pinpoint a diagnosis for the reasons why I was extremely happy and in, like, a euphoric state, and the next month I was in, like, a deep depression. I had everything great in my life I had nothing to complain about but I wasn't happy," she said in an interview.
