Mel Gibson Facing Violence Probe

Mel Gibson is being investigated over domestic violence claims.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has decided to look into allegations the actor assaulted ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva during incidents dating back to January and February. According to TMZ, the Sheriff’s Department has opened a “spousal abuse” inquiry and Oksana was interviewed by deputies on Monday.
She is believed to have told officers she was the victim of violence on several occasions and made the decision to secretly tape Mel’s behavior when it got really bad because she was frightened for her safety.A statement has now been released revealing investigators are “currently gathering information regarding the allegations.”
It was reported on Thursday that Mel hit Oksana while she was holding their baby daughter Lucia. A tape recording from January allegedly reveals the Russian singer asking the 54-year-old actor what he is doing hitting her while she is carrying the tot, who was born in October 2009.

Ronnie Wood Arrested on Suspicion of Assault

Ronnie Wood has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
The Rolling Stones guitarist was taken into custody in Claygate, Esher, last night after officers were called by his girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, 20, who alleged he attacked her during a row.
The 62-year-old rocker - who was divorced by his wife Jo last month on the grounds of adultery after he began a relationship with the Russian cocktail waitress - was released on bail this afternoon. A spokesman for Surrey police said, “We can confirm that a 62-year-old man from Esher, Surrey, was arrested last night on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident in Claygate high street. He has been released on bail till a date in January pending further inquiries.”
The couple’s relationship has become more tempestuous in recent months with Ekaterina previously threatening to kill herself and Ronnie at one point moving his belongings out of their home. Ekaterina - who started her romance with the musician in 2008 -reportedly threatened to reveal everything about their relationship if he refused to take her back.
A source said, “They were definitely on the rocks - the rows were huge. He’s really unhappy. It’s a bit of a fiery relationship. Ronnie’s spokesman confirmed he was arrested after an “incident”, but is yet to comment further.
British Authorities Will Not Charge Christian Bale

After nearly living a month with the heavy shadow of family assault allegations over his head, Christian Bale and his fans can sleep a little better tonight—police authorities have announced that they will not be charging him.
In a statement released earlier today, Crown Prosecution Service said,
“We can today confirm that we have advised the Metropolitan Police Service that the actor Christian Bale should not face any charges. [There was] insufficient evident to afford a realistic prospect of conviction… the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale.”
This serves plenty of vindication for The Dark Knight star, who has denied the allegations from the very beginning. We knew that Batman would never hurt his mom!
