Paris Hilton has branded gay men "disgusting."
The socialite was recorded in a cab in Manhattan, New York City, on September 7 making derogatory marks during a conversation with a homosexual friend and also says she would be "afraid" to be gay in case she "died of AIDS." In the audio, which has been posted on RadarOnline.com, Paris' friend said, "Say I log into Grindr [a gay hook-up app], someone that's on Grindr can be in that building and it tells you all the locations of where they are and you can be like, 'Yo, you wanna f**k?' and he might be on like, the sixth floor."
Paris replies, "Ewww. Eww. To get f***ed? Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS. I would be so scared if I was a gay guy, you might like, die of AIDS."
A spokesperson for the heiress insists her remarks have been taken out of context and, as a "huge supporter" of the gay community, she meant no offense:

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson has gotten engaged. The actor - who plays lawyer Mitchell Pritchett in the hit comedy - proposed to long-term boyfriend Justin Mikita, who happily accepted his romantic offer.
In a video posted on the website for the newly created foundation Tie the Knot, which supports the fight for marriage equality, Jesse said, "It's true, I popped the big Q," to which Justin replies: "I said yes!"
Jesse, 36, and 27-year-old Mikita - who have been dating for nearly two years - hope their union will eventually be considered official everywhere in the United States. They've also teamed up with Tie Bar to create a collection of bowties with all proceeds being donated to various organizations to help gay and lesbian couples receive civil rights.
While Jesse is now engaged, his Modern Family co-star and on-screen boyfriend Eric Stonestreet recently split from his long-term girlfriend.

Kelly Osbourne thinks that Lady Gaga is pregnant.
The outspoken Fashion Police star shared her observations on the "Born This Way" singer's noticeable weight gain and claimed Gaga - who is dating Vampire Diaries actor Taylor Kinney - has been hiding her stomach lately.
"I think she is pregnant because she has been covering up this part of her body recently and I have been noticing that a lot. And her style has changed and you can't bleach your hair blonde when you are pregnant," she said.
However, Kelly's comments came before Lady Gaga praised marijuana as she lit up on stage in Amsterdam.

Melissa Joan Hart has given birth to her third son.
The 36-year-old actress - who is best known for her role in Sabrina the Teenage Witch - and husband Mark Wilkerson welcomed baby Tucker into the world yesterday and can't wait for him to meet their other children, six-year-old Mason and four-year-old Braydon.
"Mom and Dad are elated and can't wait to introduce him to his brothers," the couple told People.
Tucker - who weighed 8lbs 5oz - has not yet been given a middle name but his parents had previously admitted they wanted to wait to see their baby before deciding on monikers. "We have a few favorite [names] - we keep tossing them around. I'm just to figure it out on the day. I don't like to name them before because I'm like, 'What if I change my mind?'" Melissa said.

Amanda Bynes' parents have moved to Los Angeles to help her get her life back on track. The family of the troubled actress - who recently had her car impounded and her driving license suspended - have already leased out their home in Cedar Park, Texas, and intend to sell it so they can be by her side, according to gossip website TMZ.
Sources close to the family say they have no plans to pursue a conservatorship - which would give them legal control over Amanda - but they want to be on-hand to support their daughter.
However, there was some good news for the former Nickelodeon star after a Beverly Hills judge ruled Wednesday that she won't have to post the $50,000 bail for her April driving under the influence (DUI) case. The district attorney argued that Amanda - who failed to show up to court - should be ordered to put up $50,000 bail pending her October 29 trial, saying the bail was needed "for risk of public safety.

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet has split from his long-term girlfriend. The actor - who plays Cameron Tucker in the hit sitcom - and Broadway star Katherine Tokarz decided to end their three-year relationship "a couple of months ago," according to In Touch magazine.
His representative confirmed the split and said he's eager to finding love again, telling the publication, "Eric is happy and looking to date."
Eric - whose Modern Family character raises a little girl, Lily, with his long-term boyfriend Mitchell Pritchatt - and Katherine met in 2009 at a Rock of Ages performance the actress was starring in. However, Eric joked about how she thought he was interested in men before she got to know him: "I kind of always felt like I had to dig myself out of a bit of a hole and let girls know that I'm actually straight. But she was like, 'Oh, I was watching The View and saw that you weren't gay!' ... And we're still together."

Jessica Simpson wants fans to feel like they can give her a hug when they see her. The singer-and-actress says it's important not to dress to over-the-top as she doesn't want people to think she's not approachable.
"I would say that I'm pretty casual. I don't ever wanna come across too intimidating, so as long as I look like you can come up and give me a hug, that's good. My signature look has always been really classic and comfortable jeans and T-shirt," the mother-of-one said of her look, speaking as the Guest Editor for women's website iVillage.
The blonde beauty also revealed her mother, Tina, is her style icon as she's just so creative with what she wears: "My style icon really for my whole life has been my mother. The way she can put together and outfit and just color and even print mixing. I mean she's just so creative and has always looked flawless to me. That's why she runs (my clothing range) the Jessica Simpson collection. I trust her with every single garment."

Justin Bieber's mother says his girlfriend Selena Gomez is "good for him." Pattie Mallette is fully supportive of her 18-year-old son's relationship with the 20-year-old singer-and-actress, and thinks the couple are "great together."
"How can you not like her? She's so sweet and she's good for him and they're great together. They're adorable," she said.
The 37-year-old single mother - who was just 18 when she fell pregnant with the "Never Say Never" hitmaker and brought him up with the help of her parents after splitting from Justin's father Jeremy Bieber - made a vow aged 21 that she wouldn't have sex until she got married, and she promised Justin that she wouldn't get a boyfriend until he was 18.
"I take that vow really seriously. I remember when I made it, I wrote it down on a piece of paper, I had someone witness it and it means a lot. I made it this far, I'm not stopping now. When I moved to Atlanta with Justin, because of the all the chaos and how crazy it was, I told him I would focus on him and wait until he's 18 before I started dating. Now he's just turned 18," she explained.

Tori Spelling was rushed to hospital on Saturday due to complications from her recent caesarean section.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 actress gave birth to her fourth child, Finn Davy on August 30 via C-section, as she did with her other three kids, and had to undergo emergency surgery as a result. "Tori underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her C-section. She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably," her spokesperson told People.
Tori recently revealed she is considering adoption in the future as while she would love more children with her husband Dean McDermott, she doesn't want to put her body through any more trauma: "I never say never but I think this is our last. I want to focus on the kids I have now and I don't want to spread myself too thin. I've had C-sections with each baby. It puts the body through trauma. I don't think I could do it again. [But] I'm all for adoption. It's such an amazing blessing and we would totally do it. My friends adopted my goddaughter Simone who's two and having seen the process through their eyes, I'm definitely a believer."

Amanda Bynes locked herself in a store changing room for nearly two hours and refused to come out.
The troubled actress - who recently had her car impounded and her driving license suspended - caused concern to shopkeepers at the Kin store in West Hollywood who thought she was "doing drugs" when she refused to come out for a considerable amount of time yesterday afternoon.
"I was so worried about her. I didn't know what she was doing in the dressing room. I didn't know if she was overdosing or doing drugs or what," a clerk told a source. According to TMZ.com, Amanda made a banging noise on the inside of the changing room every 10 minutes for one hour and 45 minutes. When they asked her to come out, she refused, telling them she needed "more time."
She eventually exited and purchased a pair of stilettos and some sunglasses, but as she was going to leave she realized she had not paid for a bathing suit under her dress, which she forgot was on and bought while still wearing. Amanda eventually left when those in the shop called a taxi for her, as she is currently banned from driving.
