Jack McCollough vs. Jack Bauer

Fashionistas everywhere (myself included) have been weeping for their beloved designer, Jack McCollough, who received several injuries from 24 star Kiefer Sutherland at a Met gala after-party last week.

McCollough’s rep recently reported that his injuries were so bad that he needed surgery: “Mr. McCollough suffered a broken nose in three places as a result of the assault… He received medical treatment last night after consulting with physicians.”

Last Thursday, Sutherland was charged with third-degree assault, which can end in anywhere from a $1,000 fine to a year in jail.

Okay, by now you’ve already heard Susan Boyle’s audition for . (If you haven’t, I pray someone pulls you out from under that rock.) But have you heard her cover the blues?

A recording the 48-year-old made ten years ago recently surfaced and is now making its way through the internet. The song, titled “Cry Me a River” (not the Justin Timberlake version), was done a for a charity album. After listening to the track, I believe it’s an even better performance than her cover of Les Miserables’ “I Dream a Dream.” (You can watch that clip for the millionth time here.)

Twitter users have been bracing for impact ever since news broke that Oprah Winfrey had joined and would publish her first tweet today, during a taping of her show.
