Jackson Kids Paternity Request

Michael Jackson's family has demanded that paternity evidence relating to his children be dropped from a lawsuit.
The late singer's mother Katherine Jackson - who acts as a co-legal guardian for his children Prince Michael, 17, Paris, 15 and Blanket, 10, - has filed a motion asking the judge presiding over the court case to exclude any evidence relating to their paternity.
According to legal documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, Katherine claims that the jury does not need to know anything about her grandchildren's biological parentage. Budding actor and TV presenter Prince Michael and his sister Paris are believed to be the children of their father's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, while Blanket is said to have been born via a surrogate mother.
The family is suing AEG Live - who sponsored Michael's This Is It tour - for the alleged negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in Michael's death.

Russell Brand has joked about his "sacred" marriage to Katy Perry - insisting 14 months is long enough to be married.
The 37-year-old funnyman made his return to radio on British station XFM on Monday night, joined by special guest Noel Gallagher along with regular presenters Matt Morgan and Trevor Lock, and was surprised to learn the former Oasis rocker knew the exact length of his matrimony to the "California Gurls" singer.
After being told his friends made a bet on how long his wedded bliss would last, which caused Noel to erupt with laughter, Russell exclaimed, "Don't cackle, I tried my hardest. How come you know exactly how long my marriage was. Was you timing it?" Noel responded, "For the record, in the sweepstake I came the closest."
Russell then continued to give humorous marital advice, making gags about his relationship with Katy, with whom he tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony in India in October 2010 and filed for divorce from in December 2011. "Thanks, nice to know you're all behind me, very supportive, nice to know you're all supporting me. Let me tell you a thing about marriage. Marriage is a bond that can last up to 14 months. This is a sacred 14-month arrangement. Begins on an elephant. Ends in a newspaper," he joked.

Miley Cyrus has had a new tattoo following her reported split from Liam Hemsworth.
The 20-year-old singer and her 23-year-old fiance Liam Hemsworth have been the subject of speculation about the state of their relationship and in a bid to show the world she's not letting her personal problems get her down, she has had two hearts etched onto her wrist.
Miley - who has several other tattoos - got the inking done at tattoo master Kat Von D's High Voltage store over the weekend and Kat was quick to show off the final result, which is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical heart.
In a Twitter post, Kat wrote, "Just did the RADDEST tattoo on @MileyCyrus - a miniature rendition of a daVinci anatomical heart! (sic)" She then posted a picture of her needle work.

Beth Ditto Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

Gossip singer Beth Ditto has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The 32-year-old rocker was taken into custody in the early hours of Saturday morning following a disturbance outside the Bungalo Bar in Portland, Oregon.
Beth - real name Mary Beth Patterson - was detained by officers for being drunk after she left the establishment and threw her shoes in the middle of the road and started shouting out the name of President Barack Obama as her friends tried to put her in a car.
"She walked out in the middle of the street, threw off her shoes and purse and screamed Obama, Obama!" a source at the bar told the Willamette Week newspaper.
The "Standing in the Way of Control" singer was later released from custody and is now awaiting a court date. If she is convicted of second degree disorderly conduct she could be sentenced to up to six months in jail and may receive a fine of up to $2,500.

Harry Styles regrets dating Taylor Swift.
The One Direction heartthrob - who enjoyed a two month romance with the country singer late last year - reportedly told friends that he wishes he never went out with the 23-year-old star after she took a swipe at him in her new music video 22.
A source close to the 19-year-old British boy band member told RadarOnline.com, "Harry might have taken Taylor's swipes with an air of grace, but he now wishes he never ever dated her. I mean, the fact she's aiming a jab at him in the 22 video has got Harry wondering what's coming next! He just doesn't know what to expect. It wasn't the most amicable of splits, but Harry said all along that he wanted to take things slow and easy with Taylor. There was certainly no commitment made, despite Taylor's protestations and the fact that they were so busy with their careers and lived in different countries meant that it could never have really got that serious. What for Harry was 'a bit of fun' at the time has slowly turned into a personal nightmare. But he won't stoop to Taylor's level, he's just going to continue to be the more grown-up person and get on with his life. Perhaps something Taylor should consider too."

Chris Brown and Drake are being sued over their New York City nightclub brawl.
The duo escaped charges following a fight at W.i.P. Nightclub in June 2012, which left a number of people injured including Eva Longoria's former husband Tony Parker and after he filed a civil suit against the club seeking damages after suffering a corneal laceration, W.i.P's owners filed documents insisting all damages should come from Drake and Chris.

Conrad Murray to Plead the Fifth at Jackson Trial

Conrad Murray will plead the Fifth at Michael Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit trial.
Although the shamed doctor has been called to take the stand at Michael's mother Katherine's civil case against AEG Live - which accuses the company of being responsible for negligently hiring Conrad to care for Michael - he will not answer questions because the responses could affect his appeal, according to TMZ.
The medic has already served a year and a half in prison after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter following Michael's death, but his lawyer Valerie Wass is set to file documents arguing she is appealing his conviction and whatever he says in Katherine's lawsuit could be used against him.
Michael's son, Prince Michael, is expected to give evidence on conversations he had with his father about the concert promoter. "Prince absolutely plans on testifying," a source previously said.

Carrie Underwood: Being a Vegetarian Is Easy

Carrie Underwood finds being a vegetarian easy. While many vegetarians complain it is difficult to find restaurants which will will cater to their needs, Carrie says she never has a problem when eating out.
"I am 100 per cent vegetarian but I try my best to be vegan. It's getting better. There are so many restaurants that will work with you - even steakhouses. My husband [ice hockey player Mike Fisher] loves to eat meat and there's a place called King Prime that we like to go to. They're always really nice to me and give me veggies if I ask for them. There's loads of newer restaurants in [Nashville districts] East Nashville and The Gulch that will cater for you too..."
Meanwhile, despite reports Hayden Panettiere's feisty Nashville character is based on her, Carrie insists she and her other singer friends are nothing like her. "Noooo! There are so few women in country music versus the men. But the TV shows are always about them and how drama-rific it all is, how they all hit each other. I have a lot of girlfriends in the scene and none of us are like any of the characters on the show!" she explained.

Kanye West Urges Kim to Slow Down

Kanye West has urged Kim Kardashian to slow down following recent health scare.
The pregnant reality TV star was briefly hospitalized after feeling unwell on a plane trip from Paris to Los Angeles last week and her boyfriend has urged her to spend more time relaxing as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
"Kim's got a real wake up call. Kanye's been on her the last few weeks to slow down but she's carried on regardless. Even her mom has been warning her to slow down but Kim's been on a hormone high, she's been using up her energy on working and not leaving much for the baby. Its a classic first time pregnancy error. Kim now realizes she can't do it all the way she used to. She has to think about the baby's needs. It's definitely an adjustment," a source said.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was advised by medics to slow down her work and exercise regime after being given the all-clear last week. "Kim's not respecting her pregnancy. She's running around, working out seven days a week. She's working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer. She's scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south. But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down," an insider said.

Jon Bon Jovi found out about his daughter Stephanie Bon Jovi's drug overdose in the "worst phone call ever."
The 51-year-old rocker was horrified when the 19-year-old college student was rushed to hospital in November after being found unresponsive in her dorm room at Hamilton College in Kirkland, New York.
"Worst phone call ever. Now she's doing great and I truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers but in short, that problem is much more of a problem than I knew and I can't get over how many people have said 'My son, my daughter.' There is a lot of pressure on kids these days. I'm just blessed she's healthy and whole and we'll get through it," he told chat show host Katie Couric.
Jon previously admitted he and his wife Dorothea were devastated at the teenager's "sudden and steep decline" when drugs including heroin and marijuana were reportedly found in her room: "I didn't have any sisters. We bring home this girl the first day. Now what? Where's the manual? There was no manual. So you bring her up the best you can, you surround her with hugs and kisses and know that she may eventually fall down... I'm shocked as much as the next parent with this situation and had no idea. But then you surround them with best help and love and move on, and that's where we're at with it. Steph is a great kid... Cool school, Hamilton College up in Clinton, New York. Everything about it is idyllic. She was doing great. Then a sudden and steep decline."
