They may not have actually walked down the red carpet together, but Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer did make Sunday a big date night. Mayer, as previously announced, attended his first Academy Awards as Jen’s “Oscar boyfriend.”
Formal gown, check. Fitted tuxedo, check. Oscar backdrop, check. The only thing missing from this prom photo is the corsage. Let’s just hope this won’t be one of those high school romances the two of them will later regret.

Just last month, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden celebrated their daughter’s very first birthday. (Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on January 11.) Now the parents are preparing for their latest addition.
Late yesterday, the 29-year-old Good Charlotte musician announced the happy news through his band’s website:
What’s better than winning an Oscar? I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope your all feeling as good as i am right now…......
Richie, 27, and Madden have been together since late 2006. Although the two have talked about marriage, no wedding date has ever been announced.

Although she should have been busy celebrating, Rihanna spent part of this day - her 21st birthday - updating everyone on her status. The following was issued to the media by the singer’s rep:
“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”
This is the first statement Rihanna’s camp has issued since their brief comment on February 8th. A photo of her injuries was leaked to the internet yesterday.

John Mayer Escorts Jennifer Aniston to Oscars

Jessica Simpson might want to stay away from her television this weekend.
Despite enduring an earlier breakup, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have been moving full steam ahead. In the past few weeks, they’ve celebrated Aniston’s 40th birthday together and smooched publicly during a Valentine’s trip in the Bahamas. Now Jen and John will be hitting the red carpet as a couple.
John recently told PopSugar that he is scheduled to be a plus one for this weekend’s Academy Awards. (Jen is rumored to be a presenter at the 81st annual event.) “It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend,” Mayer revealed.
Question is: Will this be Aniston’s way of proving she’s finally happy….or is she really trying to make sure Brangelina doesn’t see her alone?

Police insiders previously claimed the singer (real name: Robin Fenty) suffered two large forehead contusions in addition to a bloody nose and lip. I’ve always found singer/actor Justin Timberlake’s fashion choices to be questionable at best, but GQ has a different opinion. Timberlake as been named the most stylish on the magazine’s list of “10 Most Stylish Men in America.”

New Picture of Jennifer Lopez’s Twins

Although it was rumored Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony would be over come February 14, the couple appeared to be quite happy this past Saturday.
Jennifer, who was attending Marc’s Madison Square Garden concert, eventually wound up on stage with her husband. Helping to complete the family photo were their two babes, Max and Emme. (The twins celebrate their first birthday on February 22nd.)
Had the earlier reports been true, this would have been J.Lo’s second Valentine’s Day split. Sean Combs officially announced his break up from Lopez back on February 14, 2001.

Today, one week after his canceled Grammy performance, Chris Brown finally offered a statement to the media. Although he didn’t specifically acknowledge harming anyone (or that the person in question was even Rihanna), the singer claims he is now seeking counseling support.
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.
Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. In the March issue of Playboy, Aubrey O’Day takes it all off for an eight-page pictorial. The former Danity Kane singer also opens up about some personal goals. “I want to be that girl who gives a guy the best sex he has ever had, the sex he’ll never be able to get out of his head,” she says. (Well, why didn’t she just say that earlier? Maybe Diddy would have kept her around!)
