After serving just a mere few hours of his 8-month jail sentence, Nick Bollea (a.k.a. Nick Hogan) realized that incarceration was not entirely what he had expected. Apparently Hulk Hogan‘s son didn’t think felony reckless driving was that serious a matter.
In this just released transcript, we learn how a tearful Nick dealt with his first day in the clink:
Nick Bollea: “Had I known this, I would have rather gone to trial or I would rather, you know, appeal the case or something. I can’t deal with this for eight months. It’s (Bollea’s cell) like the size of my bathroom.”
Linda Bollea (Linda Hogan): “Oh!”
Nick: “No windows or nothing. Just one little top bed thing.”
Linda: “Oh my God!”
Nick: “All you do is sit there and think, and there’s nothing to think about.”

Lindsay Lohan: From A-Lister to Fur-Stealer?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Clothing, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Child star-turned tabloid queen Lindsay Lohan is making headlines again, though not for any upcoming movie roles. A student at New York college, Masha Markov, is suing the former teen queen for mistreatment of the former’s fur coat. Whether Lohan is accused of borrowing or pilfering the coat isn’t immediately clear.
Markov does have the fur coat (which has an estimated worth of $12,000 according to Markov’s legal counsel) in her possession. However, the lawyer claims Lohan “had the coat for several weeks” and that it now bears a tear in the lining and an unspecified stain. The coat was purportedly a gift from Markov’s grandmother.

UPDATE: Hulk Hogan’s Son Sentenced to Jail
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Legal Issues, Videos, Breaking News,
After injuring his friend in a car crash last year, Nick Bollea pleaded no contest today to felony reckless driving. The 17-year-old was then ordered to serve 8 months in jail. That sentence nearly equals the amount of time since the crash.
At the time of the incident, witnesses reported seeing Bollea drag racing against a friend. His speeds were apparently in the neighborhood of 100 miles per hour. Although Nick was quickly discharged from the hospital, the other occupant of his car was initially listed in critical condition. That friend, John Graziano, will now require lifetime medical care.
Nick’s father, wrestler Hulk Hogan, spoke on behalf of his son - and his injured friend - to the sentencing judge. (You can see that video after the jump.) After speaking about his personal relationship with Graziano, Hulk said his son should not be given any preferential treatment. He also said Bollea should not become a convicted felon. He hoped the judge not to give up on his son.

Richie Sambora Pulled Over for Drinking
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Break-ups, Drunk, Legal Issues,
UPDATE: The story just became much sadder. It turns out Richie wasn’t alone when he was pulled over. His current girlfriend, daughter and another young girl were inside the car at the time.
Poor Ava Sambora. In the past month, the young girl has seen both of her parents thrust into the media spotlight…and for less than happy reasons.
Back on March 8, the 10-year-old’s mother (Heather Locklear) had paramedics make a surprise visit to her home. Someone from outside her residence called 911 believing the actress was suicidal. (She claims she wasn’t.) Now - just more than two weeks later - Ava’s dad is having is own turn with the authorities.
TMZ reports that rocker Richie Sambora was pulled over late last night when he was spotted driving erratically. After the Laguna Beach officers stopped him, the musician failed several field sobriety tests and was promptly detained. Sambora has since been released from custody.

Sean Combs Answers LA Times
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Legal Issues, Rivalries, Breaking News,
An inflammatory article published by the LA Times has brought about quick response from entertainment mogul Sean (P. Diddy, Puff Daddy) Combs. The article suggested that Combs, along with Notorious B.I.G., Jimmy Rosemond and a promoter, knew that rap superstar Tupac Shakur was to be gunned down before the event happened on November 30, 1994.
Seriously, I like tasty entertainment gossip as much as anybody, but isn’t this old news? What was the LA Times thinking, anyway? At any rate, the story was published and now Combs is pissed. In a statement released today, Combs addressed the allegations: “This story is a lie. It is beyond ridiculous and is completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.” Well.

Paul McCartney and Heather Mills’ Divorce Settlement
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Divorce, Legal Issues, Breaking News,
This St. Patty’s Day has proved to be quite a lucky one for Paul McCartney. Today he officially washed his hands clean of Heather Mills.
The former Beatle and his ex left the High Court in London today after a financial agreement was finally ironed out in their bitter divorce. Although it was originally reported that Mills would receive somewhere in the neighborhood of $110 million, she came away with much less. Including assets she already owned, the 40-year-old will take away approximately $50 million dollars from the marriage. (That’s approximately $12.5 million for each year they were together.)
You can view her response to the settlement below:
Daddy will also give be giving their 4-year-old daughter, Beatrice, approximately $70,000 per year for her expenses.

Michael Jackson Keeps Neverland Ranch
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Sports, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Despite coming narrowly close to losing his Los Olivos home, Michael Jackson has managed to stay on as owner of Neverland Ranch.
The 2500-acre property was set to go on the auction block next week due to unpaid taxes. Luckily for Jackson, his lawyers were able to work out a private agreement that would allow him to refinance his $24.5 million debt.
It’s unclear at this point whether the singer will opt to hang on to the home or attempt to sell it on his own terms. Michael has not actually lived on the estate since the whole 2005 child molestation scandal.
David Beckham - Victoria’s better half - is one of the parties rumored to be interested in the property.

E! News is reporting that Britney Spears has been receiving letters and packages, allegedly of a threatening or dangerous nature, from one fan who may be a little too into the star. An unnamed source says the letters are filled with “weird gibberish” and threatening overtones, evidence which the source says will soon be made available to police officials. The source called it “disturbing stalker kind of stuff.”
The LAPD denied that an investigation is in the works, but said they are “looking at allegations” which began in recent months.

New York Governor Allegedly Involved in Prostitution Ring
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Legal Issues, Breaking News,
UPDATE: Spitzer will not face any criminal charges. There was no evidence that Spitzer had misused public or campaign money to pay for the women.
Thanks to a report in today’s New York Times, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was forced to speak during a press conference about his supposed ties to a prostitution ring.
With his wife by his side, the former Attorney General addressed the media without referencing the allegations directly. (According to the story, the governor is under investigation for meeting up with a prostitute in a Washington D.C hotel room.) In his statement (he did not take any questions), Spitzer said:
“I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family. That violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. I apologize first, and most importantly, to my family. I apologize to the public whom I promised better.”
(You can listen to the presser here.)
Although Spitzer reportedly told his senior staff members about the investigation, he did not make it clear for the reporters what this means for his current time in office.

Bai Ling Pleads Guilty to Shoplifting
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Television, Legal Issues, Meltdowns,
Consequences have finally come back around to the sexy-yet-eccentric Chinese actress Bai Ling, who pulled a Winona last month at LAX, shoplifting a pack of batteries, and, ironically, tabloids.
Ling pleaded guilty on Wednesday to disturbing the peace, agreeing to pay over $700 in penalties and fines. Definitely beats any time in the can, though, right?
Later that evening, the Southland Tales actress confusingly claimed, “I told you the truth is going to be told and I am innocent!!!” on her blog. Ling, who also appeared in the cult hit, The Crow, also stated that she “will drink a sexy red wine tonight after filming and celebrate! I am smiling for real!”
