On Gear Live: Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold Long-Term Review: Still Worth It?

Baz LuhrmannBaz Luhrmann is praying for Lindsay Lohan.

The Great Gatsby director thinks the 26-year-old actress, who is currently in the midst of a 90 day court-ordered stint in rehab after pleading no contest to lying to police about driving during a car crash in California last June, is hugely talented and he hopes she can get her life and career back on track.

"I have known Lindsay since she was very young. She's a talented girl. I pray that she can bring herself back to the place where she came from because she is a talented actress. I feel for her, I really do," the 50-year-old Australian moviemaker said.

The Moulin Rouge director also voiced his support for another tabloid favorite, Kim Kardashian, who he thinks looks "elegant" pregnant: "I met her the other night, about two weeks ago. I had dinner with her and Kanye at a friend's place. She's an extraordinarily elegant woman, pregnant. I was really struck by her grace."

Rick and Lynn Bynes with their daughter Amanda

Amanda Bynes' parents are trying to get her placed under a conservatorship.

The She's The Man actress has worried her parents Rick and Lynn so much with her bizarre recent antics that they visited several lawyers in a bid to sign over all legal, medical and financial control of her affairs to an external party. The troubled star was booked for drug possession on Thursday evening when police visited her New York City apartment after receiving a report of a disorderly person. Amanda - who was spotted smoking a joint in the lobby and behaved erratically throughout the incident - was taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, before being arrested for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence when she attempted to throw a bong out of the window.

Amanda Bynes on 'inTouch'All bark and no bite? Amanda Bynes recently claimed (again) that she's going to sue InTouch for publishing a false story which features supposed photos of her in a New York apartment surrounded by drugs.

Naturally, the actress went to Twitter to spew her disapproval: "I have to sue because that's not my apartment, those aren't my clothes!... [The magazine] morphed photos of my face onto someone's body to ruin my life!... I don't care enough to keep talking about it. Just assume that I f--ked the boyfriend of the editor of intouch because they f--king hate me!"

An older photo of Bynes appears on the cover of the magazine, which the former Nickelodeon star also didn't appreciate, as she's since undergone plastic surgery to amend her (supposed) facial imperfections: "I have to make a big deal of this and sue because that's not me! I care about my appearance so I have to defend myself! I look like a different person now that I had surgery."

InTouch has yet to comment about the alleged libel.

Brooke MuellerBrooke Mueller's drug abuse history will be given to child protective services.

The third former wife of Charlie Sheen is embroiled in an on-going investigation to decide whether she can retain custody of the pair's twin sons, and her "medical records" could be made available.

"All of Brooke's medical records from the past four years since the twins were born, as well as all the rehabs she has been to, will be turned over to child protective services," an insider said. Temporary custody of Bob and Max, four, has been granted to Denise Richards, Charlie's second ex-wife.

Brooke, 35, is currently being treated in the Betty Ford Clinic for her 20th stay in rehab and her drug addiction will be thoroughly investigated ahead of the June 4 hearing which will determine who will have care of the twins for the next six months.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is avoiding Brooke Mueller in rehab.

While the 26-year-old actress and Charlie Sheen's former wife are both currently being treated at the Betty Ford Clinic, Lindsay is shunning Brooke, 35, because she thinks she is a "drug addict."

"It's creeping Lindsay out that Brooke seeks her out nightly at the meetings in an attempt to strike up a friendship. Brooke is extremely eager to become besties with Lindsay while in rehab, and has told Lindsay how much they have in common. Brooke's publicist was Lohan's one-time rep, Steve Honig and Brooke has even played the Charlie Sheen card, pointing out that Charlie helped Lindsay pay off debts to the IRS, so they both have a close relationship to him. But Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her. Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions," a source said.

Denise RichardsDenise Richards has retained custody of Charlie Sheen's sons.

Lawyers met in court yesterday after the actor's ex-wife Brooke Mueller - who is currently being treated for drug problems at the Betty Ford clinic - requested her four-year-old twins Bob and Max be placed in the care of her brother, but the judge "flatly denied" her request.

"The judge flatly denied Brooke's request to to have Denise stripped of temporary custody, and placed in the care of her brother in Orange County. There was absolutely no reason that could justify the move, which would only uproot the twins yet again," a source said.

Brooke - who would have retained the $55,000-a-month child support she receives from ex-husband Charlie if her brother was caring for the boys - had alleged Denise had only agreed to take on the children for her own financial benefit, but the actress insisted she isn't interested in money.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan will be jailed if she leaves the Betty Ford Center early.

The 26-year-old actress - who began 90 days of court-ordered treatment nine days ago after pleading "no contest" to lying to police about being behind the wheel during a car crash last June - is reportedly "freaking out" and threatening to quit the rehab facility in Rancho Mirage, California because doctors have cut off her supply of Adderall but has been warned she will be hauled before Judge James Dabney and sent to jail if she quits.

"The judge overseeing Lindsay's case has made it crystal clear that if she defies the agreement, it's jail time. Judge Dabney signed off on Betty Ford and he expects her to remain there for 90 days. If she does, that will be a violation of her probation and the judge will send her to jail," a source said.

Betty Ford's doctors rarely prescribe adults Adderall because they believe there are plenty of alternative treatments and also think that many people misuse the drug to control their weight.

Pete Wentz and current girlfriend Meagan CamperIt's been two years since Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce from Pete Wentz, and the Fall Out Boy bassist is finally talking to the public about the split and the toll it took on him.

The 33 year-old admitted recently to Rolling Stone that his addiction to prescription pills Xanax and Klonopin resumed and he experienced paranoia following the break-up:

"I was probably physically and mentally addicted. It started from insomnia and anxiety from flying, then it spiraled... I felt like a loser already. I'd basically gone from being the guy in Fall Out Boy to being the guy, who, like, hangs out all day. I didn't see how I'd ever come out on the other side... I was scared of everything. I thought there were always people listening to me. Like, I had my house searched for bugs. It was crazy."

Denise RichardsDenise Richards' temporary custody of Brooke Mueller's four-year-old twins has been extended.

The Twisted actress, 42, has been granted permission to keep the 35-year-old socialite's sons, Bob and Max - who were removed from Brooke's home on Thursday by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services when she was placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold in hospital - in her care for the moment, as Brooke undergoes treatment for "prescription drug abuse."

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Denise and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, who is the boys' father, put on a united front at an emergency court hearing on Tuesday morning where a judge poured over what sources say is a shocking report about the conditions in Brooke's home. The twins were also in court, along with Brooke's lawyers Lori Howe and Angela di Donato, and Charlie's lawyers Mark Gross and Elise Greenberg.

Brooke MuellerCharlie Sheen's ex-wife has been released from hospital.

Brooke Mueller - who was allegedly placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Centre on Wednesday because she was deemed to be a danger to herself and to others - checked out on Friday and refused to go to rehab for further treatment for her drug addiction.

"After Brooke sobered up on Friday, she was released from the involuntary psych hold because she was deemed to not be a danger to herself, or others, and her current whereabouts are unknown. Brooke was encouraged by doctors at UCLA to get treatment for her drug addiction, but she refused. Under the law, she couldn't be held any longer," a source said.

Her family and friends are reportedly very concerned as they have not been able to contact her. "[They] are sick with worry. Her cell phone is off, and Brooke hasn't spoken to her family in several days," an insider said.
